I thought lapse are what you snuggle up on…haha

Now, maybe this doesn’t happen to you, but mama is only curious if others have the problem of gallivanting off to the market or the bakery or wherever, buying something, starting to talk with a friend who has turned up or even just starting to talk with the vendor or the check out person, whoever, and then blithely skipping out to the car/on foot/with a friend and LEAVING A SACK BEHIND—on a counter, on a shelf, in your basket, wherever…

So do you do this every now and then?

This morning, mama was up bright and early, had papa stop the car at the open market to grab some very special Pink Lady apples that are brought in from the mountains, and some tangerines along with them, and she put the apples in her cart, saw some avocados (tiny, but 6 for 2 bucks!), started talking with the seller who gave her a present of a huge orange, helped her with the avocados and then BOTH of them forgot to put in the tanergines.

So that’s another trip across our little village to get the 2 bucks’ worth of tangerines, which are certainly worth it, but it’s 7 degrees C and chilly…

I was out this morning and even my fur coat didn’t work that well.

Speaking of Pink Ladys, did you know that the Pink Lady is grown in a very specific way, with no pesticides or bad things and that it is practically a religion, the methods of growing that have been developed. It’s an interesting story and I’ll put a link to it, but mama doesn’t want any other apple now that Fujis have sort of lost their flavor on the bedpost overnight, haha. Do you know that song, “Does Your Chewing Gum Lose Its Flavor On The Bedpost Overnight?”? ( Is that exrea question mark needed to end the sentence?)

Well, I’ll put a link to that, too, if I can find it. It’s an old country and western song that makes mama laugh…

And that’s a good thing, anytime, anyhow. That’s why she has papa and me…
