Just look at that. Do THEY think I am dumb or what? Those are kibble nibbles in that CAGE/PRISON!!! And Mya’s sweet mama gave mama a soft carrier bag for the next leg of the (now defunct, thank heaven!) trip but I didn’t fit. Sort of like Cinderella and the shoe, whoever she was, but I had to squeeze ALOT just to get my front in! So that didn’t work, and I went in my cage reluctantly, but we’re working on it here in Rome and I think my PRISON (like an anthro on a date, haha, whatever that is) might change into something more comfortable! Any ideas for soft rolling carriers are welcome!
We started off and I was a dream kitty for the second day of travel.
Do NOT, EVER ask about the first one…
And I was calm and peaceful all the way to a B and B in Sarzana, Italy.
On the third day on the last leg…uh, oh. I was what they call…er…resistant to doing my daily ablutions, which are famous for being like clockwork, but if you think I was going to comply with Road Rules, you have another think coming.
SO…third day: THEY had to stop four times because my myow sounded like…er…something that says, Let’s stop, folks and find me some dirt. And so they did and even put some litter in the dirt but do you think for one minute I cared? Had a ball exploring, however, and found that autoroutes are even FUN! I think this trip shook up my otherwise waking/eating/gardening/sleeping/eating/sleeping life and I kind of needed a shake up.
This is mama trying to console me in the B and B.
But I LOVED the B and B and mama wants me to write about it in my next blog so watch my Loulous and I’ll have some nice pics for you.
But you have NO idea how happy I was to get to Rome and EAT and…er…that other thing…and SLEEP and PURR and SNUGGLE as if it had all been a bad dream. I am SACKED OUT…here in my little under the bed place…and
here, on my ON the bed place next to mama and papa.
Arrivederci until tomorrow!
Traveling is never fun…but we’re glad you like the B and B and are doing okay now.
Yes, I am back to ‘normal’, whatever that is. But I’m also back to rummaging in mama’s hair to persuade her to get food ready in THIS bed and breakfast, haha.
How dare they trick you ? It’s nice of you to have been a dream kitty despite of this. Purrs
Yes, well, one has to turn the other muzzle occasionally.
Oh, Loulou – we feel your pain!!! Sorry the bag didn’t work out. Mama says Sassy (a BIG girl, who lived to the age of 22) considered it “home” on the road. Probably because she could hide from the bad doggy Pepper and big cuddly Rosie, who was fond of sleeping on TOP of the bag (with Sassy inside), which didn’t bother her in the least, as they drove all over France for several years. Mama says go to Amazon website and type pet carriers and a gazillion choices will appear. She’s getting ready to order me a high-performance pousette since the wheels are getting loose on the cheapo-version. Can’t wait to hear about your adventures on the road in tomorrow’s blog!!!! Bisous (I’ll try to remember which end for cats, hehheh!!).
Oh, Mya, I was just funnin’…I don’t mind a sniff or two. But only two, haha. I am so good now and I actually have acclimated well, but THERE IS NO GARDEN and I tend to wander around looking for it. Maybe mama will get me some grass soon and I’ll have something to chew on. She brings it from outside and you don’t know where it’s been, haha.
And new wheels!!! WOW. You and those parents with Rolls Royce baby carriages, haha. Love from us.
That was a big journey. I am glad you like the B and B.
It was rather pretty and I loved rolling on the rugs.
Oh, what you have been through, both good and bad and er … plugged. So glad you enjoyed some parts of the trip. You ALL needed exercise so it was kind of you to keep reminding your mama and papa you all needed to stretch and explore.
Well, I certainly changed their minds about ‘plugged’ when reached our digs here. And my little toilet bucket was installed perfectly so all went well. Just glad NOT to be moving over bumpy roads.
Wow LouLou, I had heard of the SACK of Rome, but I did not realize you were involved ! Somehow it looks more peaceful than I had been lead to believe !
Oh, Mary, you are too, too funny. Yes, the SACK of Rome was quite peaceful with me as the general…
I love waking up next to Beau <3 Those are always the best moments of having a kitty!
And how dare they try to trick you into the prison!!
Well, I had to go or stay behind and I don’t cook very well. Yet. Mama is teaching me. Nip Noodles, Fish Flapjacks, and more.
