Do NOT make me go to Nepal, PLEASE!!!

Well, today I am posting a story from Yoda, a traveling kitty who really went the distance!!! I don’t do this often, but I felt it was interesting to see how we kitties are so resilient, and there are some very good articles on what cats can and cannot eat and more on the website.

Mama finally open the photo of Yoda,  but she told me to also post Fluffy Kitty.

Boy, I think overnight on a comfortable ship is bad…I’d better thank my lucky stars I’m not going to Nepal!:

Yoda: I was going on a big adventure. The only problem was that I had no clue to where. It was my first flight. Where was I going? From North Carolina across the world to Nepal. What on earth were my pawents thinking?

Luckily, I have an adventurous spirit.

It started out with meowmy rushing me here and there to get all the vaccinations (ouch) and paperwork filled in time. Those two weeks flew by.

Before I knew it, I was pawing goodbye at my auntie and mee-meow at the airport. My meowmy had to take me out of my cage for security, which I loathed doing. I had my tail tucked so far between my legs like you wouldn’t believe. Everyone was staring at us like we were celebs, but I wasn’t in the mood for socializing.

We boarded our first plane to Philly; thankfully I could stay with meowmy in-cabin (this time). I didn’t make a peep, err, meow the whole time. Not even when the engine fired up!

We had to stay the night in this dreadful airport for 8 hours before our next flight. I couldn’t pee I was so nervous and excited. We definitely weren’t at home anymore. Mom let me sniff out the ladies restroom so I could stretch my paws every hour. Still, we had a long journey ahead of us.

It was time for me to go in cargo. My meowmy kept caressing me and saying I was a good boy, but I had no idea what she was talking about. Then with one last kiss, I was taken away and put on a moving thing. Meowmy disappeared out of sight.

Nearly 20 hours later, with a layover in Abu Dhabi included, we arrived in Nepal. At least I did, I didn’t know where my meowmy was. But then I saw her waiting, with her bags and a tired look on her face. She brightened up as soon as she saw me though!

It was hot, and my water had been spilled everywhere during the journey. We arrived at our new home, and meowmy made me a makeshift cardboard litter box, where I instantly jumped in and did my business.

Alas, it was so good to be safe and sound with my pawents again!

I can vouch for trouble with travel, and I think we are about to do that again next week…uh, oh.  Hey, I’m too old for this stuff!

Yeah, Loulou, but what about US?

Hey, at least you can go to the bar, haha.
