Well, this is a window in our little ville from which three kitties look out upon the world every day, safe behind their lovely see-through screen.
Saying hello.
Because the streets are so narrow here, they can’t have one of those amazing products from Cat Solarium, but this works awfully well for them. Mama passes by sometimes with food for the stray black kitty who seems to be their friend and who hangs around outside waiting for food from the nearby restaurant. It’s nice to have kitties back in Collioure. Evidently, many were poisoned a long time ago, and the population has just started coming back. Can you imagine?
Heaven knows it’s a good thing what with all the Jack Russells and Yorkies around this burg! Personally, I like the mixed up kind–miniature Pinscher/Yorkie, Jack Russell/whatever mutts and those adorable pink-eyed pale Chihuahuas who have such sweet dispositions, whatever those are.
But, alas, I don’t get to go our schmoozing with all the animals around here. My only friend is Sarah, the yapping terrier who visits next door with her gardening owner, and we stare at one another for long, long moments. She seems nice, for a yapping, crazed, running-around-in-circles-terrier, but I’m not sure what we would do if we actually met!
Have to ponder that one….
A Ponder Pose
teehee – what would a terrier do?! He would run over to your food bowl and scarf it all up or woof down as many cherry tomatoes as possible in the garden before you came out of your clunk! Well, then I would come over and lick your nose to make sure all was OK. But that’s just because we’re friends.
This one is unpredictable…
Well, LouLou, if you were yapped at too vigorously it seems like you might do one of your “clunk” faints. Then I wonder what the terrier-type would do ?
Probably keel over in awe at my weirdness. You should have seen the one I pulled tonight. Mama didn’t have her cameral ready but it was a DOOZY.
