We’re thankful there were (?) soda jerks and the place itself with MANY perks!
That’s my poem for this amazing place! I wish it were more full of amazing grace…(the poem, that is).
Thankful we are for so many things, but we are hoping to be thankful for so many friends and family right now who have physical problems to take care of, and we believe they will be handled soon!
Thanks for being kind whenever possible.
Let’s hold paws whenever we can.
That is a cute poem!! You must have imbibed a nipitini there, judging by your picture, LOL! Wait, they serve those at a soda-bar! OMC!
Yeth…I did hav a liddle sip…..
I wonder if they serve catnip soda. ~Ernie
HEY, brilliant idea! Why didn’t they think of that?
A perfect little poem for the photo this week Loulou! We are lucky enough in our little town to still have what remains of the local “soda shop”….the counter is there but is now part of a cute little restaurant. Mom and Dad love going there. I myself like my own little restaurant in the kitchen here where I get plenty of food but NO ice cream as Mom says I’m too BIG to get treats like that! I think that’s discrimination against LARGE GINGERS!
Hugs, Teddy
Hi Five, LouLou, I’m all sodas-factioned now😸Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞
Well, you lead a very sodas-faction kind of life with your nice granny!
You could go in a pousette – we see lots of kities in Nice in their pousete – and it can close! When your Mama and Papa come to Nice well show you where – DOG AND CAT STAR!!!
We will not be in Nice because of the no-mask situation and we have cancelled Italy so perhaps your maman and papa will be here one day!
YES!!!!!! We will come this summer!!!!
We would love to visit. LOVE to visit.
Great job on the poem. I wish I could hold your paw. XO
You have held my paw virtually, Ellen. It was nice!
We all scream for ice cream.Researchers say cats cannot taste sweet but we beg to differ when the ice cream (mostly vanilla) appears.
Paws up Loulou !
I’m with you! What do they taste if not sweet…maybe just the milk or cream, lactic acid.
Cute rhymes, Loulou!
We are too young to have visited soda fountains, but have plenty of experience at ice cream stores.
That was, of course, before we chose the plant-based lifestyle.
As a kid, my parents would take all six of us to the Dairy Queen, but my father never ordered for himself.
He ate all of the cones that us little kids couldn’t finish!
Oh, I love that. Once mama, who doesn’t eat sweets by choice of taste, visited a Sicilian town where there were 13 gelato shops. They ate one at each one, mama took a bite and papa finished the rest!
