“Bravo, we love Walz!”
Comment from a Tuxie in Rome whom mama met last year, watching our political scene unfold. The whole world is watching…
Donc, I nudged mama into being a bit political with the blog today, so you can skip it if you wish, but we feel it’s so important, come November.
Today we are thankful for the choice of vice-president:
“Walz is also a symbol of an important resetting of the Democratic Party. He has been unapologetic about his popular programs. On Sunday, July 28, when CNN’s Jake Tapper listed some of Walz’s policies and asked if they made Walz vulnerable to Trump calling him a “big government liberal.” Walz joked that he was, indeed, a “monster.”
“Kids are eating and having full bellies so they can go learn, and women are making their own health care decisions, and we’re a top five business state, and we also rank in the top three of happiness…. The fact of the matter is,” where Democratic policies are implemented, “quality of life is higher, the economies are better…educational attainment is better. So yeah, my kids are going to eat here, and you’re going to have a chance to go to college, and you’re going to have an opportunity to live where we’re working on reducing carbon emissions. Oh, and by the way, you’re going to have personal incomes that are higher, and you’re going to have health insurance. So if that’s where they want to label me, I’m more than happy to take the label.”
PS The image of me with a golden mask on (an accident on Lunapic) didnot show up yesterday but instead, a notice from them about hotlinking, whatever that is, was there instead. No worries. We didn’t want the mask image anyway….sorry about that.

Happy International Cat Day! I do like this picture, and have since seen several other sites with the odd message where a picture should be. It leaves me wondering what’s going on.
It was something mama couldn’t cope with and we just sort of let it go on, but I don’t think it’s going to happen again.
We love the picture of the kitties in Rome, it’s fantastic! We are happy with Walz,and Ms. Harris. We try to stay out of politics on the Internet but the Cat Lady factor is just too tempting! We caved briefly last week. (If you get two comments from me on this, please delete one. I didn’t think it went through on the phone, so am trying the computer.)

Drooool. Mama adds the zest of a big lemon and all the juice and sometimes uses grilled almonds instead of paine noots which are $$$.
