Well, I’m just a bit tuckered out after mama starting showing me photos of a lovely little art show on display on our sweet ville. These were artists’ illustrations of poems from different countries–Spain, Armenia, The Czech Republic, Chile and other latin America states, France and others. Mama couldn’t take pics of the whole shebang, but these are a few of the pieces.
Below is our church and one of the three little beaches now deserted in winter. And a lone fisherman going home as the moon comes out.
This is the show, set up along the quai next to the Latine-rigged Catalan boats.
Below the kids putting on the show rested in the boats after it was over.
I liked this piece especially and how color was used to make the planes of his face.
Maybe I should get out my pastels and do a little experimenting, but the last time I did that I got colored chaulk all over my stomach! You do NOT wish to see me with pink/green/purple tummy fur…
Mama said this was a nice excursion and diversion after the sturm und drang of the last few days.
And of course she WOULD take a pic of THIS GUY! Argggggg…
If I had ears like that that practically drag on the ground, I’d step on them when I walk!
Why does she LOVE all these random doggies in France?
Probably because it makes her so, so glad to get home to me.
That’s some lovely artwork, LouLou, but I think you are the inspiring masterpiece 🙂 Pawkisses for a Happy Day 🙂 <3
Oh, shucks, but well…mama loves to draw me so I guess I am.
Loulou, you make me laugh!!! Just be glad Momma doesn’t invite ALL those doggies in or I wouldn’t be the only one terrorizing you and attacking your toys. But you know it’s all in fun and I’m just a mischevious little dawg and love to see your little cat grin and how you pretend to ignore me. But did I see your paw print on that giant bird painting? Must have reminded you of Pheasant Under Glass. Going to search for kibbles………..
Oh, Mya, why don’t you live closer to me so that I can pretend to ignore you?
Of course, she takes woofie photos as she is missing you and anxious to get home. Mom loves your little village, and you are looking formidable, as usual, Loulou. We think you would look quite lovely with a pastel belly. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty, May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Maybe I’ll talk to my fashionista guru about that…
Oh LouLou, we’re sure your mommy luvs you above all other anipals. You are also more gawjus than any of da art there. Da water sure was luvvly and relaxin’. You are lbest to live in such a surreal place. Big hugs to you all.
Luv ya’

Well, it’s a small town and small towns are so real and human. I am lucky.
You live in paradise. Very nice art too.
You do live in an interesting place. So different from where we live. Glad your mama gets to enjoy the sights and shares them with you … and us.
Mama and papa worked hard to spend time here and in their little place in Austin and it’s a lovely place to be in for short stints and reflect on what is going on in the US and other countries. Mama and papa like diversion and differences and here, one really has many to observe and learn from.
You are soo lucky to have a view like that to enjoy, well if only in the pics from your mom. The artworks are so very vibrant, and alive, and really must have livened up the winter scene. As to doggies, hmm I would be keeping an eye out in case one follows your mom home and tries to steal your bed, and food and your mom! purrs ERin
Oh, I keep an eye out over my shoulder…mama really goes nuts for these well-behaved, intelligent French doggies. And they are VERY friendly.
