Well, today I just feel like being snuggled. Maybe it was the trip, or maybe it’s the state of the world since November 7th, but if there is anything that will help in almost any difficult situation, it is snuggling. Snuggling with anthros is one of my favourite pastimes, and I think it’s because the anthros in this casa indulge in it almost to an embarrassing degree.
No, I take that back. They just like it. The more the merrier. So they pass that art on to me, their Loulou, and I shall pass it on to you.
Basic rules of snuggling:
Be available. Do not hide under beds or play come-and-find-me-to-snuggle-me, just let yourself hang out in an approachable area.
When you see a perfect snuggle opportunity, TAKE IT. A sleeping anthro is a really good snuggle target.
Always have your head ready to push against a hand. Any hand you can find.
Never resist being held like a baby even if you feel absolutely silly.
Let others snuggle you in photos, even if you have just seen a pigeon who needs to be taught a lesson.
Let yourself be held and cherished, even if it is your dinner time.
Always try to reciprocate, whatever that is. It is better to give than to receive.
Sort of…
Hi Loulou, you surely do have the art of snuggling, and thank you for the mistress class, I found it most illuminating. I will be trying to get peep to use some of those positions, but I for one wont be doing the holding! PS, you have an adorable TUX complexion, and smile. purrs ERin PS, this enquiring TUX would like to know, did you get that pigeon?
Hey, that pigeon was long gone halfway to Barcelona before I got out of those snuggling arms. I have to make some rules around here, I think. See bird, drop cat.
Oh LouLou, you look so adorable and huggable. Mommy is a snuggler hugger too. Always, no matter what, she’s likely to snatch us up mid dream and wanna snuggle and nestle her face in our furs. And ya’ know what?…We luv it. We eat dat up. Can’t get enuff of it. Maybe it’s cuz it’s all we know, but we think everypawdy oughtta have at least a hunnerd hugs and snuggles a day. Big hugs to ya’ll.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
You are very wise, Loulou. And incredibly cute. I can understand why no one can resist snuggling with you!
Maybe, too, it’s because I have a nice kitty smell. Which is no smell at all. I would like some Catnel NO. 5 but no one gives it to me.
Ahhhhhh, Loulou, I can hear you purring now!!! You – and all your snugglers look so happy and zen. Maybe that’s our job in life – to bring happy smiles to our (and all those other) anthros out there. I’m trying to learn to purr but all I can come up with is a growl or a snore. Working on that……….
MYA, I HAVE NEVER HEARD YOU GROWL. EVER!!!
You are such a sweetie LouLou. XO
Aw, you really do love to snuggle, Loulou.
Excellent primer on snuggles ! Looks like your anthros know how to reciprocate !
Oh, I gave them private lessons.
Good job, Loulou. You have learned well.
Um, we don’t know how to ask this delicately, so we’ll just come right out and ask. you always look so petite in your photos, Loulou, but in that first one here you look like a big girl. Are you a big girl? It’s okay if you are. We’re just curious.
Well, let us say that mama’s wide-angle lens often makes me look, er, a little larger than life. I weigh 5.3 kg which is not small, about 11 pounds, but I am overall a small kitty. My little body was hidden in the photo with all of mama’s step grandanthros.
Okay, okay, I’m a medium kitty.
Wonderful snuggles pictures ! Purrs
