Wow, this kid, Hayden Godfrey, bowls me over!
Well, the sweetest thing happened on Valentine’s, yesterday.
A high school boy gave out 900 carnations, one to each girl in school, just because he wanted to make each one happy.
You’ll see in the video how wonderful his girlfriend was, too, when she found out he was buying so many flowers and they weren’t all for her!
He watched each year as the same girls got flowers and he felt that it was not right and left out so many other girls and so he decided to act.
The way he earned his money to buy the flowers is a touching story, too, because those carnations are not cheap but maybe the florist gave him a discount.
What a kid! As his mother says, “He is an old soul.” At fourteen. Imagine what he’ll be in ten years! Or even next year.
Wow, those smell really good!
What an incredible gesture.. His girlfriend is a lucky girl.
Wasn’t that just lovely? I know that kid is a kitty lover, too. I just know he would send us catnip if he could!
What a nice thing for that boy to do.
Yes, and a boy of 17 who has planned this since age 14. How many of those around now?
That is so sweet of him. With a heart like that, he’s going to be a catch.
Well, he has a girlfriend and she made it very clear that he was taken…at least for now.
That is a sweet story. I remember in high school my Chemistry teacher gave all the girls in his classes a carnation, they were sold through student council.
Well, I wanted to give each kitty in my neighbourhood a catnip branch but I got stuck in the patch and couldn’t function….
Oh Meow LouLou dat was such a pawsum story. We hadn’t heard it. Dat was so sweet of him. Yes, mama wears Bellodgia from Caron, which is carnation-based. I went to your website to leave a comment and don’t know if it got through or not. But Happy Valentine’s anyway!
