Hey, you want to see some lovely photos of this little burg…er…ville, now that the sun is actually making its debut for the first time in WEEKS?
Here is our neighbor’s incredible garden entry, which he has dedicated to the four (er…now three…) donkeys that graze with the mule on his parking lot before the summer crowd appears.
Yes, Suz, Loulou is talking about US, the cute little darling-fuzzy-bodied-sweet-lipped- velvet-nosed donks!
But it would be much more fun is that MULE didn’t hog all the food that mama took to them! They are NOT happy. Pompinette, the mule, simply cannot be managed when it comes to snatching over-ripe bananas out of mama’s hands, and don’t even let her get NEAR a carrot!
But our little town is getting ready for spring.
Mama’s fava plants are really jumping! The flowers are lovely and the little beans are just poking their heads out before showing you all their body!
So, spring is on the way. Uh, oh, I just remembered that only a couple of years ago, in MARCH, we had more than 36 inches of snow!!!
Cross paws…
Our Summer weather was a month late in coming so don’t let those flowers get too far too fast OK? The snow might well return eeeeeeek!!!
EEEEKkkkk is right! But aren’t some of these little flowers called Snowdrops?
You have very cool neighbors ! We cross our paws that you don’t get any snow ! Purrs
I think snow is out of the picture. (I say this and then watch it snow tomorrow!)
Lovely photos!

Loulou, we are having crazy warm weather with crocus and daffodils blooming. Mom and Dad have even been able to work outside. But, like you, we know March cannot be trusted. Those donkeys are pretty darn cute; though, not as cute as you. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
Well, their ears have it all over mine, that’s for sure. They are such darlings.
OMC Dat’s a lot of snow LouLou. You be lookin’ so adorable. We hope you’re right and spring is on da way. And we purray we never get dat much snow. Big hugs fur all.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Yes, it was a lot and papa tripped over one of mama’s pots under the snow because it was hidden, but he recovered!
