Well, mama says that we share something all around the world and it’s the sun in the morning and the moon at night and this is ours over the last few days…so beautiful coming up (or we, turning toward it!) over the Chateau St. Elme that looks over our little ville.
So perhaps we could share other things as well…
like good will and kindness and helping our neighbors and friends and others.
The moon that night had a smile on his face, unlike other times when he looks a bit sad. Wish I could have caught the grin!
Well, that moon thing wore me out! Mama thinks we are all affected by moonlight and she used to moonbathe long ago.
(I think she just liked saying that to be exotic and mysterious, haha. Adolescents do that…)
those photos are glorious! Just glorious!
OH, thank you, and there are more coming. Mama is obsessed with moons.
BEAUTIFUL!!!! And nothing more beautiful than those beautiful deep cobalt blue skies in Collioure. And with a full moon!! Magnifique!!!!!
We doggies are supposed to howl (not me, of course – that’s for the uncouth and loud) but what do cats do? Were you tempted to go out and find a cute tomcat? That reminds me – I have to pursue the westie a bit more diligently for the rendez-vous at the fire hydrant……
I could send you some Canale No. 5. Smells just like a nice muddy frog pond. Dogs loves sniffing those things.
WOW!!! Canale #5 – I like the sound (and surely the smell) of that!!!!
Or how about luring him with a few moves in your wiggle area…?
Beautiful photos of the moon and of you.
Thank you so much. It was a lovely moon for all us in many places.
Excellent moonrise pics by your Mama, LouLou ! Usually the full moon LOOKS huge but the camera gives the lie – it is a trick of the eye caused by perceiving the moon near the horizon. This gives the full, beautiful effect. Plus, seeing you mooning over the moon (in the respectful sense of that term) is an added bonus !
Well, sometimes it actually comes up to the left of the chateau (in autumn) and it’s really HUGE…optical illusion as you say, but so incredible.
Such beautiful photos your mom took of your moon. Hope it will be a lovely for you tonight.
It seems to get more beautiful each evening.
It will come up very late but it really is spectacular in these last few nights.
Hehe. We didn’t know you were so poetic!
We actually don’t have moonlight in Northern Europe as it’s midsummer. We do have some hours of gray light as we live in the very south of Finland, but in Northern Finland, the sun doesn’t go down for several weeks. That’s actually exhausting in a way, too. But much nicer than the other way around in December.
Ah, the land of the midnight sun and the land of interminable dark!!! You know, mama adores writers from Finland, Norway, Sweden, you name it. Finland and the hot thermal baths sound like heaven to her or am I getting it mixed up with Iceland? Hey, I know you have hot baths too.
We’ve many saunas at least 😉 I think it’s only Iceland which is known for thermal baths, but I guess we’ve some in Finland too. Anyhow, that’s for humans, we prefer to wash ourselves like most cats do, probably even Icelandic cats.
Oh, we would all love to visit Finland. And I’m sure there are a few Icelandic kitties and doubly sure they do not take hot baths!
