YAY, Winston came home!
Well, we are all happy here to day because mamma opened her email and found The Good Life France, a magazine she loves and wrote for a couple of times, and the editor was ecstatic because her beloved kitty, Winston, gone for four weeks (!) was meowing outside her door. A lovely story and photo of the beautiful Winston on Instagram if you wish to read it.

Is this the cutest little kitty you have ever seen? Well…I mean, one of them, for sure.
Winston, home again!!! (Grown up)
We are always so tickled and so glad to hear about the return of animals who have left home, for whatever reason, and then suddenly turned up again right back where they belong. Sometimes they are skinnier, sometimes a bit beaten up from a spat with unknown assailants, or sometimes fatter than before because of the kindness of strangers, but oh, what a feeling to find a lost family member!
Mamma always wonders if my family ever looked for me, but mamma put up signs and a photo and no one responded. She still thinks they left after the summer and simply left me behind…oh, boy. Sad. But with us kitties, one never knows why we stray away for awhile and then return, right?
I happen to prefer the house, NOT the wild. But I did survive out there for heaven knows how long until that fateful day when mamma saw me in the garden…and the garden has a very strong door that is NOT open. Just call me Houdini…
BUT, here I am, fat…er…svelte and sassy, and about to learn how to use Instagram, if anyone wishes to guide me. I wanted to see Winston’s photo and found that mamma and I have an Instagram account, but I don’t know how to use it!!! Duh…the twenty first century, Loulou, I said to myself. Get WITH it, girl!
Do YOU use Instagram? Clue me in.
You can never know what lost animals have been up to until they finally come home. My mommy had a kitty once who got locked in the upstairs apartment while the occupants were away on a musical gig. They were rock musicians and we were friends but the apartments were identical except for the furniture and luckily they were only gone 2 nights. The toilets were open so they had water available.
THEY were a little upset because my Angel sister Tequila went potty in their house but we all were relieved she was ok! They were much more careful after that when they had sets out of town.
Well, those guys should have been HAPPY that Tequila was FOUND. Good that they are careful now.
Well, I’m glad they will be careful now not to let in the Tequila terror, haha.
We are very glad Winston came home safe and sound. But ifin he’d not been let out in da furst place he wouldn’t have gone missin’. So many times da story doesn’t end so happily, and it makes us very sad when dat happens. As fur instagram, we’re there, but not very active. We just don’t have enuff hours in da day fur all those social media channels and visitin’ our furiends. Mommy does have to take potty breaks sometimes. MOL Big hugs
Luv ya’

Oh, that is funny. SOCIAL MEDIA drives us all nuts at times. And yes, potty breaks, so funny!
We’re happy Winston was found. And Loulou…if your previous humans weren’t looking for you, then you are much better off where you are now…in a loving home with your mama and papa.
Boy, am I ever. Someone who would drop me off and leave me in a town after they had split after their vacation is a NON-person to me. I am so, so happy here and with all of you as friends. PARADISO!
LouLou if you look on Blogpaws.com you will find plenty of Instagram focused tips.
We couldn’t believe on artist has over 100,000 follower so our 1,000 seems a little thin MOL!! 😉
Oh, what a BEAUTIFUL story with a truly happy ending and a beautiful kitty – uhhh, handsome I guess since his name is Winston! It would be great to know what the little rascal had been up to – unrequited – or not (quieted?) – LOVE? Well, I’ll bet he’s so happy to be back – and well-fed, he won’t be pulling THAT trick again! Big Hugs to Winston!!
So glad that story had a most wonderful ending! I was the same with my Angel Bobo, I had found him in a bitter snowstorm……for two weeks I drove around the neighborhood looking for signs, I put an ad in the paper and read lost and found ads (this was in the days before computers), no one responded. After 2 weeks I said that’s it, he’s mine!
I love that. Papa took down all the signs she put up for Luna, another kitty, right after she put them up!!! Baaaad man. An Luna was theirs for 15 years.
That is good news.
Oh LouLou – it is always wonderful to read about a “found” anipal ! My Alexander, an indoor kitty – ran out Aug. 31 and was not seen again – until he reappeared the morning of Sept 18 ! He was a bit thinner, but had no apparent injuries – SO happy he came home – and he seems very happy yo BE home ! Hurrah for Winston – and hope for a the lost and missing !
OH, how wonderful for you, Mary, to have Alexander back. Now…where on earth was he? Always an interesting question with disappearing kitties.
Great news ! What a lovey story ! Purrs
Aww great to know a lost kitty come home. There is no more or greater worry than that of a family parted, for sure. Instergram? is that like telegram?

Well, I wish I really KNEW what it is! May have to go to the experts somewhere and ask. I have an account but I think it’s best to do Instagrams on an IPhone or IPad, not a PC.
that is great news to hear,I love a good ending,xx Speedy
Oh that is wonderful that Winston found his way home to his momma. I’m sure she was worried sick! I have slipped out the back door a few times in the past but only got a few steps. Mom freaked out each time and put me back in. She would lose it if I went missing. Say, I do have an instagram account. I share it with the D-O-G. My tip: make sure & put your bloggie address in your profile if you haven’t already. Purrs!
I don’t even know how to get into my Instagram account but I will follow your advice if I ever get there!
