Well, I’m just askin’…do you ever get a sort of glazed eyeball expression on your face after rolling around with a nip sock and a Nip ‘Nana? A kind of staring-off-into-space-in-wonderment look?
Just wondering.
But mama uses my altered moods to do some quick drawings while I am an unmoving (and unsuspecting!) model, haha.
As you can see by the eyeballs, I was…er…a bit in another world posing for this one, haha.
Sometimes she tried to squeeze in a sketch before painting my illustrious body but I have to ask, are my eyeballs really that weird after nip?
Do anthros look like this after doing whatever it is they do that changes THEIR eyeballs? Don’t answer that. I’m going back to space out a little before mama starts putting me on paper.
And HAH! She can’t SEE my eyeballs in this pose!
Trivia tidbit: I’ve lived with over 100 cats at a house where catnip grows. None of those cats has been a’nipper (Samantha is a nipper, but not a’nipper).
WOW, 100 kitties and none of them a nip nipper? Well, that’s a first for me. Wish I had been there…
MOL! We love the faceplant, Loulou!
Oh, you guys are so kind. FACEPLANT?
Loulou, your mama captured The Look perfectly, hehheh!!! How much weed, errrr, nip did you consume to get that expression! You’ll be the hit of the expo – maybe put a few little catnip plants near the drawings? Mama saw some yesterday at the Marché on Curs Saleya – in little pots! Pot? Mama givin me that Look again ……..
Oh, catnip in pots! I’ve never seen that and mama plants the seeds here. I do have a stash, whatever that is, comin up…heh, heh.
Loulou, in the top picture you have the perfect “tuxie gaze”.
Talking about tuxies, Billy, my friend MJ’s cat, was reported missing about ten days ago. The family was distressed, of course. Eventually, Billy was found on a motorway rest area north of Beaune, tens of kilometers away from home. He was identified thanks to his chip and will be returned to his family tomorrow Saturday. A happy ending. Ouf !
OH, thank heaven! I wonder if Billy wandered or did someone pick him up and then leave him….a happy ending, thank heaven.
We think he “boarded” the van of an artisan working on MJ’s house and who we know was headed for Dijon (north of Beaune). It would make sense. Now, did the said artisan voluntarily release Billy and good luck to you… or did Billy escape? No answer to this. I look forward to seeing Billy take his daily walkies. Ouf again.
Oh, we do, too. You never know if someone is a kitty-napper or if a kitty just wants a little ride somewhere, right?
My eyeballs are weird after nip too! Your mama’s sketches are wonderful! Do you believe my Mama can sketch but never does? She is awful! Love, Cody
YOU GET YOUR MAMA TO DRAW YOU!!! Anyone who can push a pencil needs to try, at least, because it FEELS so good, mama says. Get going, Caren.
Oh Loulou ! The trials of living with an Artiste ! Thank goodness for Papa’s skritches !
Yeah, so tempermental, haha. Actually, they are both pretty laid back, thanks to me.
You Mama is a great artist. And you are a wonderful model. XO
Oh, shucks. I never know when I’m going to show up on paper. Mama is sneaky.
