Apres aperos snooze…
To be truthful, that is NOT absinthe but instead a pastis (licorice flavoured booze with water added, which makes that pale milky white color). This is Mignon, a darling Papillon who is 17 years old and not doing so well but is very happy in the lap of mama Alix and papa Paul. She was visiting Mya and Mya’s papa snapped this darling shot.
Mama is about to make her limoncello so I guess we’ll ALL be looking like Mignon pretty soon, haha. Just kidding. NO ONE GETS MY NIP and I have a brand new bed of it growing just outside the kitchen, for my sniffing pleasure.
If you think that look on my little face is a bit goofy, that green stuff on the right is the reason!
We hope Mignon wasn’t planning on drinking that. 😉 Sorry to hear she’s not feeling well.
No, little Mignon was just gazing at it and it put her right to sleep. A cheap high, M.
WOW! Your nip jungle is amazing and that little woofie sure is cute! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
LOVE your blog hops and love your blog.
Well, Loulou, I have to tell you, the whole gang looked a bit like Mignon after their Spritzes at Dandy’s! Goodness. Well, we all made it home, Mignon and I in the poussette (a miracle papa wasn’t ticketed!!). But we’ve been having great times – and I’ve been playing nice. And wow, guess BOTH our mamas made limoncello yesterday! Think they’ll give us a taste? HA – in our dreams!
There are two yellow bottles cooling in the fridge…hmmmm, I think it’s that stuff you all talk about all the time, but I sniffed it and my nip is WAY better!
aw, how cute.
And what a nip patch!
Yes, and getting bigger!
Heavens, that is some nip patch ! No wonder you have to watch for intruders !
Hope little Mignon feels better. One of my vets raises and shows Papillons. She has a champion named “Kitty.”
Well, what a great name for a Papillon!
