I know how to PLAY ALONE when all desert me!!!
Well, not exactly X-rated but I was X-cluded from the dinner tonight that my aunty and uncle offered to mama and papa, and off they went, all four of my favourite snugglers, to a restaurant here in town whose name has something to do with sin, (gluttony) and from the reports I got when mama and papa got home, it was appropriately named! I think it’s called the fifth sin, le cinquieme peche. which probably applies to all the incredible creations one puts in one’s muzzle at that place TO WHICH KITTIES ARE NOT INVITED.
So be it.
Just because they had things with cream in them, and scallops, AND ice cream doesn’t mean I am envious. I was perfectly happy here with my OWN private dinner ALONE, delicious lightly toasted chicken kibble augmented by a couple of tartar-control treats, and finished off with beef and carrots in a delicate sauce of…well…whatever.
So go out and have fun, you anthros! You’ll see what happens to those who X-out kitties from festivities….Just you wait!
Besides, I had my Nip ‘Nana and what could be tastier than that?
HORREUR!!! A soirée of sin and you weren’t invited – or even brought back some tidbits!? We must not let them get away with this. A coup is in order and our brilliant minds, together (in a couple of weeks!!) will think of just the right taste of revenge. Something Russian perhaps……
HAH, a kibble encounter when papa tries to steal mine…maybe a little taste of something icky.
you tell ’em!! xoxo
Well, I got back by not allowing snuggles more than 10 minutes at a time.
Oh LouLou, I bet they will make it up to you somehow.
Not to upset you, but that last picture makes you look a bit – er – zaftig. Must be the angle from which Mama took it.
ZAFTIG??? Aha!!! FAT, ROUND, BUTTERBALL-Y….Well, Mary, it is an illusion and bad photography, thank you, mama. I have lost TWO GRAMS!!!
Yes, in the first picture you look quite svelte – slender even.
“Cats sleep fat and walk thin.
Cats, when they sleep,
slump,
When they walk, pull in,
And where the fat’s been there’s only skin.
Cat’s sleep fat and walk thin.”
I can’t remember who wrote that but it is so true !
Wonderful poem. Especially for ME. I slump in sleep and walk pulling in and all those things!
