So I thought it might be interesting to show you what happens after dinner when I am preparing to fall over, clunk.
First I look sort of stoned, into the distance, thinking about what comes next.
In a nano second, CLUNK! I’m out like a light.
And then mama draws me, knowing I won’t move for at least a week.
So that was just a little aside to get your attention. Now we are moving into the garden, AT LONG LAST!
Hello, Ms. Spring!
Hello, lemon tree, under which uncle sits while aunty shoots.
Hello, first rose of spring!
Hello, flowering sage, attracting bees like crazy to fall in love with our flowers and pollinate…
Hello, little spinach plants, needing to be thinned, that’s for sure. Good salad on the way…
Hello, Jean, our catalan neighbour, cultivating for his spring plants and followed by the little hens who peck at exposed worms!
AND HELLO, PAPA! Giving me a spring snuggle after my extensive photo shoot in the garden.
Oooooo! It sure looks like spring has sprung where you live!
Yes, bustin’ out all over and it’s not even JUNE!
I am totally in awe of that garden, mine is nothing at all to be proud of though I do have a good few places to go for mouse hunting! Lemons on the tree already, is it me or is that seeming so very early. Again, I think I need to move to live with you, or nearby. I do hope you never hurt yourself when you have those turns, I would be worrying all the time if I was your mamma….
Toodle pips and purrs
ERin
Yes, Erin, may I call you “Cuz” as in cousin? I think you should move nearby and we could really tear up the town. I never hurt myself turning….
I wish I had a lemon tree in my garden.
My lemon tree is a potted one.
I need to move to a more appropriate area, it is that simple.
Well, mama says that to be rich in lemons is better than bucks.
Food for thought…
Ahhhh. Thank you. I’ll add those to all of those I don’t remember, haha.
WELL, nothing like a great meal to make one go CLUNK! And your mama caught the clunk just perfectly with that lovely, graceful drawing! And the beautiful flowers!! Our dwellings become even cheerier with beautiful flowers in the spring and mama planted some pretty marguerites in the flower boxes on the balconies. Finally, spring!!!!
Oh, love Margherites…name of grandanthro, mama tells me. Marghe for short so now you have Marghes in your jardinières!
Ah…spring is in the air. Nothing like a snooze to welcome its arrival.
I think it’s called Spring Fever, whatever that is. Involves dreaming, I think. And love…
Those baby spinach leaves look tasty. You created a lovely drawing.
Thank you from mama. There will be a gazillion more after the show is up on May the 5th. And all proceeds will go to an animal rights org I think.
There is NOTHING so comforting as a good nap after a good meal ! In fact, I feel a bit drowsy myself.
We really know how to live, Mary.
Nice Spring photos and beautiful photos and drawings of you.
Oh, thank you. Tonight was mild and warm and I roamed the garden with glee.
Great photos and we love the drawing!
Purrs xx
