We’re not going ANYWHERE yet without a little silliness in the day!
Well, don’t you feel just sort of silly and weird on some days and start singing that ancient jingle, “Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don’t” or any goofy song you can pull out of your little pea brain? I don’t sing any ditty like Doggy In The Window or Shrimp Boats because if I do, mama has a hissy fit because she can’t get the words or music out of her head for DAYS on end, so I stick to silly jingles or whistling.
And Mya’s maman just sent the most darling story about a sweet little doggy who lost his rabbit from Ikea and so people from all over Russia and other countries sent him THEIR rabbits!
Stories like this make me SOOOO happy! And of course, they are NOT silly at all, but I did love watching that little doggy be silly with his bunny.
Off to pack…er…hide, that is. Although, guess what, this time I seem to be okay with the jaunt tomorrow. And
the suitcases are RIGHT THERE IN MY ROOM!@%$&%
Still, I feel silly about it all, will until it’s over!
I should be feeling like mama’s suspicious kitty drawing, but I’m not.
(I think they zapped all the suitcases with Feliway, whatever that is. Must work…)
Hey, can you find the TERRORS in this photo?
Oh LouLou, you look a bit stoned. Have you been in the catnip again? MOL We’re purrayin’ fur ya’ll to have a safe trip. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
`Well, we had a safe trip, thanks to well-wishers like you two. Love from me.
They’re going away again? Are you gonna stow away this time?
Yep, I stowed away and now am HERE with them, happy as a clam, whatever that is.
Well they seem to be small suitcases, so perhaps they won’t be gone long. The Dad has great big HUGE ones.
Wow – Mama doesn’t know Purple Underpants, but remembers Flying Purple People Eaters – and her friend Mary Lee sent a video of Sam the Sham singing Wooly Bully last week and she couldn’t get it out of her head for days! BUT on to important things – is that BAGGAGE in the background being packed?! Oy Vey – we know what THAT means!!!!!!!
Hey, you win the “what’s making me run and hide” contest! YES, BAGGAGE. I hear a zipper and I’m outta there…
Feliway works wonders.
Well, papa and mama are lazing around the house because everything is sprayed with it, haha.
We love Feliway its so calming and relaxing, in fact I think we would love a snooze after our selfie visiting……
Oh, LOVED your selfies you Dashing Kitties! Yes, a snooze in time saves nine (lives).
Well, mama and papa are barely moving around the house, which is where we sprayed everything, haha.
Mama sprays it before I get into my …er…traveling compartment…but. I think my Nip Nana might be helpful, too.
Wow ! “Purple Underpants” IS a catchy tune ! This past week I have been singing “Sweet Betsy from Pike” which has about 127 verses. The cats are annoyed.
Well, I’m going to learn THAT one, for sure! Did she wear Purple Underpants?
Actually, Betsy MAY have worn purple underpants (like most folk songs, some versions are racier than others).

Here’s a typical version. I’m surprised your Mama didn’t ;earn it in grade school, like I did.
Mama did not know anything about this but I’ll bet it was somewhere in the repertoir of her women relatives…her grandmother used to sing “Who threw the overalls in Mrs. Murphy’s chowder?” She loved that one!!!
Dori over at Wonderpurr sings Purple Underpants. wonderpurr.com/dori-in-concert-purrrple-underpants/
I’m headed there NOW to learn it.
Oh, that is CLASSIC!
Mrs H doesn’t tend to go away these days as she has no family, bar me. So no need for any of that feliway stuff or bribery, though the latter does help… a little. As to singing tunes, well they are confined to the shower and limited to the shower, AND the Geneva Convention, MOL
Purrs
ERin
Oh, Erin, you are so funny always. Geneva Convention, indeed!
Loulou, our mom was able to add your photo to the blog hop. Thanks for letting us know you were having difficulties. If you need to sing something silly, try “Purple Underpants” by Adorapurr. If you don’t know the song or Dori, you can find it on YouTube. It is our mom’s favorite “pick me up” song. It drives our dad bonkers when she sings it, which makes her even more happy. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Oh, I didn’t want to complain but I am LOVING Purple Underpants, which mama found and sang to me!!! And yes, drive the dad bonkers as often as possible, haha. Love to ALL of you.
