WHAT WAS THAT? It sounds as if some nutcase is throwing pebbles at our windows!
Well, I was just ruminating on what is going on around here with huge thunderclouds and then HAIL everywhere and then suddenly, it all stops and it’s 75 degrees and sun and mama has gone out in a down jacket and is ranting and raving about the schizophrenic weather and I’m headed for under the bed because ANOTHER huge thunderbolt just made my fur stand up on end!
(Wonder if that’s where “Hail, Caesar” actually came from–people giving him the weather report, haha.)
And THEY just laugh and say, wow isn’t this FUN, and THEY brought me here under the illusion that I could have a sane holiday season with the little step-anthros and maybe have a few extra treats by rubbing on their little ankles and looking innocent…haha.
BUT…that said, it is still warm, NOT winter, thank heaven, and tomorrow is stepson’s birthday–yes, on Halloween–and there are some pretty tasty treats in the chocolate shop downstairs. Marzipan pumpkins and witches hats and things shaped like bats, whatever they are.
I think that’s something mama says often, as in, I’m going bats today! Or batty, can’t remember witch, haha.
Papa says the little ice rocks can’t get in the house…whew!
OMC! All that hail…it looks like snow!
Wow, Loulou – what’s happening!!?? We had storms night before last that damaged the entire coast west of us all the way to Ravallo near Genoa!! Gee, I sure hope my favorite restaurant, Romolo’s – where I get great stuff that papa sneaks me under the table!! The Cocteau museum in Menton was flooded and works damaged, but no details. And tonight we’re going to a friend’s vernissage at Place Wilson at 7 – but will run back since the wind and rain re-starts at 9! And roads blocked above Nice with snow and ice. Talk about crazy – here too. But we’re lucky to have our comfy apartments! Wishing for one day all our 4-legged friends will be so fortunate.
WOW ice and snow??? I just hope our lemon tree is okay!!! And yes, get HOME before the rains come, as you’ll certainly be happier. Has your mama put one of those doggy raincoats on you yet, haha? You really are perfect for fashions, so, so cute.
That is big hail, glad it can’t get inside.
Well, we should have made ice cream!
Love that, Loulou. Hail, Caesar. hahaha
Glad you are safe and protected.
I wonder if Caesar ever saw hail, whoever he is.
Caesar is the guy who makes salads. 🙂
OH, you funny farmers. It WAS a Caesar and he was a restaurateur in Mexico. LOVE that salad for the anchovies.
Are your weird storms over a large area ? That sounds pretty scary !
I believe two of you would be LouLae.
Well, yes, the whole city and lots of other surrounding towns. And weird weather in NICE, Mya’s mama says.
OMC, heaven is crazy ! Those ice rocks are impressive, it must have been scary ! Purrs
Probably lots of anthros who were outdoors with headaches, haha.
We have never seen hail before. We have seen lots of snow. And then not been able to see out the windows because there was so much of it, but never hail.
Love Laser & McLaren
SNOW? I think that may be in my future as this weather gets weirder but hailstones are NOT fun if you’re outside.
