WOW! This looks like we’re going to need an ARK!
Well, these weathermen must have gone out for coffee, or something. Papa and I constantly check the meteo lately and one day it’s LOTS of rain and one day it’s no rain until 11 and another day it’s rain NOW, and of course that’s exactly when the sun is beaming on the puddles!
Go figure.
Hey, they DO do better than some years ago when there was not the sophisticated equipment to chart the caprices of the wind and rain and snow.
I have a few caprices my self, haha. Just not charted yet.
And the best weatherperson ever is Maggie in our little ville, whose shop faces the sea, and she can tell you exactly what’s going to happen, just by looking at the sky and waves. Alas, she’s there, not here.
But mama has to go get fresh ginger for her curry dinner tonight, seven people around the curry pot with all sort of condiments and of course, for me, PLAIN pieces of turkey. I’m a little southern French kitty and hot things blow me out of the water, whatever that means. But in this weather, a nice spicy little stew might be just the ticket.
Meanwhile, exercises. I have no garden here to run around in and I MUST keep my figga–as mama’s grandmama used to say.
But first, a warm-up…
We’ll all have turkey with you LouLou. Even mommy stays away from the curry. And, mommy has a knee that can guess the weather better than the weather guessers and their bestest instrumentation’s. MOL Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Oh, mama has “knee”too but it won’t predict the weather—just whether she should slow down or not!!!
Our rain stopped…at least for now. Loulou, you look purrfect…skip the exercising for today. 🙂
Yes,yes, a good lounge instead.
Wow – that sounds like some dinner – so it was last night? Since it’s 4:30 in the morning here!!! Mama wants to hear all. And I want all the food dropped on the floor. There probably wasn’t any, huh? But cool rainy weather perfect for spicy Indian food! We’ll be 7 around the table tonight for Mexican – chicken molé and for starters, a slice of Papa’s tortilla espagnola with his grilled red peppers on the side. And the wonderful almond cookies from your mama’s recipe! Yummmm – I see leftover bits of chicken in my future (sans sauce!)…….
WOW you guys are Entertainment Special in Nice, I think. I wish so much we could see Susan and Stephen! Give him a hug from us for his leg…..and yes, DROPPED chicken is always a good end to a meal. Wish we were THERE for mole.
But how did your mama get the little moles out of the garden?
HAHA!!! She bought them – in a jar!!!!
What? A Mole Jar? Wow, the things we don’t know…
WOw you guys are Entertainment Special in NICE. And yes, dropped chicken mole is the way to go, but how dod your maman find so many little moles in Nice in the city?
We need an ark too. Your figure is perfect 🙂
Well, sometimes when mama is checking me out, I stretch my little body out to look thinner…haha.
Well, I stretch out a bit to fool maman, but I want to say that your book on Prancie was darling and I would have taken in that kitty in a minute.
So there is curry for dinner tonight? Let us know when you’re having steak and we’ll show up. 🙂
Well, I wish it were steak night more often…but mama is more into fish and birds right now. Still…you all are invited when she wises up.
My kitties are always interested when I am eating something spicy, but if I leave a little taste, they aren’t interested. I think they are more interested in hat I am consuming than in the actual taste. I think you will enjoy that bit of turkey without any side effects.
Well, it wasn’t in the curry yet, just waiting to be.
Happy exercising Lou.
I am the same, I don’t enjoy spicy food at all. If Chicken and turkey are involved I rarely ever get to enjoy it as McLaren and Laser steal it before I have the chance.
Uh, oh, looks as if we need some chicken-defense training.
