May Day, May Day!
Well, did you know that “May Day” was originally m’aider, pronounced may-day in French, meaning help me. You probably know that, but mama has always thought it was so cool, and now she’s crying, “Help me, help me” herself!
Poor mama.
It appears that to put a photo in a WordPress blog, she has to UPLOAD the pic from Adobe Photoshop Elements to the WordPress Media File! So how do all you bloggers out there simply Copy and Paste a photo into your WordPress blog? Is mama missing or overlooking or not understanding something?
I know that this has gone on too long, but NO ONE seems to know how to do this and I can’t imagine that all bloggers copy down the ID of the photo and then paste that info into another window and then wait for the pic to upload, which takes time.
Whatever happened to copy and paste? Mama can copy off the internet and paste into her blog, which is driving her to open livingwithloulou.com images on the internet and use one of HER OWN PHOTOS of ME again in a blog!!! Weird.
Mama says she will send a really nice surprise prezzie to ANYONE who can throw light on this puzzle, whatever throw light means. I’ve never seen light being thrown, that’s for sure! I mean, how do you catch it to THROW it?
SO, dear friends, if you are or know anyone who IS a techie who knows WordPress, please send the info to mama.

Meanwhile, totally off the subject, where are your favorite places to sleep?
On a bed.
Under a bed.
Between warm knees.
On a tall thing, if possible (kitty climber, large rock, shelf, etc).
In a closet.
In a frying pan on the stove (stove off, of course).
On someone’s head.
Just taking a poll, whatever that is. I hear it’s polling time…
DON’T FORGET TO VOTE!
Oh, I like to sleep on the pillow right next to Mom in the curve of her arm. Mom is nice and warm. Loulou, Mom and I have some suggestions for you about uploading photos. We will email those to you. Purr purr purr.
Thank you so much for your suggestions and the websites and all of the information you sent and mama will be getting back to you soon about all! Marvelous help!
https://firstsiteguide.com/wordpress-media/ Not sure this helps but it’s a good article
Thank you so much. I use Media Library but I cannot “drag and drop”from Adobe Elements!!! I have to write in the description of the photo each time…as in DSC04597.jpg.
A pain in the ….
BUT my husband suggests that my photos are perhaps quite large and should be minimized to upload quickly to Media Library.
However, I can’t figure out how to upload to Media Library from Adobe Photoshop Elements without putting in the description of the photo. Any ideas? I clearly need a PSE forum to find out how to use PSE (which I’ve used for years) in WordPress.
Thank you again for the website as I learned OTHER things I did not know. And thank you for visiting Loulou.
Loulou’s mama,
Suzanne
Yes, thank you, I know that website. Very helpful.
Well, Loulou – my mama is no help. And she can’t even vote – since she would have to pay state and local taxes if she registered in Louisiana! EEK. But she is sure sending positive BLUE vibes!! Will that help? Don’t know – but can’t hurt. She will definitely vote in the next presidential election though – since that won’t cost her $$. Maybe the words FORGET TO VOTE should be in red and the DON’T in blue? Hmmmm…….
Oh, you are one baaaad doggy….
I wish I could help. That is the only way I know how to get my photos on wordpress.
Well, mama will talk with them today. Perhaps it IS the only way.
The mom just uploads photos on to our blog from the computer. There’s an option in the blog post to “add media.”
Mama USES ‘add media’but the photos have to come from MEDIA LIBRARY, and they don’t copy paste from Adobe.
We’re no techy’s LouLou, but we had mommy send you an email. It’s really easy to add fotos to WordPress. We hope you get it figgered out. Ifin we can do anythin’ to help, let us know. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
OH, many thanks, you two. Er…mommy. I’ll take a look because your mommy is way more savvy than mine about blogging.
No, no, no, don’t copy and paste into your WP blog! Hang in until you find some help or you could make a big mess.
Well, mama listens to you, Jan, so she’ll keep putting things in Media Library, but it’s tedious. And she wants all of her pics of me in Media Library….as in, er, 5000……….arggggh.
