LET’S ROCK, MAMA!
Well, papa went off to a party with the little salmon crackers mama made for it but he didn’t take MAMA! Well mama didn’t go, by choice, so let’s set that straight.
And I have her all to myself, haha, to wheedle treats out of her and get rubbed all evening while she watches a movie or something. I have to say, she gets good marks for STAYING HOME…out of the (eventual) rain and chilly weather so she can be well during the holidays.
Hey, it’s just a little cold, and not even that. No sneezes, no drips, just a little hacky cough and she is calming that with the ginger tea.
Maybe she’ll make me a nip tea so I can join her on the couch.
Wait a minute–it’s my DINNER TIME, mama!!! Just because you’re taking care of yourself doesn’t mean you can’t take care of ME.
Mama had to make the canapés for the party and so she wore a mask and surgical gloves, haha. That mama is a real nutcake!
And now, mama, it’s party time for ME!
YOU SAVED SOME SALMON FOR ME? Oh, mama….
MOL That’s funny LouLou. But, mommy does the same thing when she bakes and ‘specially ifin she’s makin’ somethin’ to take somewhere. Glad you got some salmon. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Oooooh – you got salmon last night? LUCKY LOULOU!!!! But probably a good move your mama didn’t get out in the rain and stayed in the warm and dry apartment – drinking nip tea, LOL!! That would help anything for sure. Well, last night mama took some home-made gravlax out of the freezer for snacks tonight – so maybe I’ll get a taste. Today, we’re supposed to have beautiful weather, so a LONG walk. After so much rain here, it will be nice. Wish you were here to ride with me in the poussette!!!!
Well, wish were there for the gravlax maison! Your mama cooks so well–we LOVE eating anything from that kitchen.
oh what fun you will have with your Mama!!!!! You have her all to yourself! I think she was smart to stay home and take care of herself so that her cold doesn’t turn into something bigger. No fun being sick during the holidays, hoping she feels better soon! xoxo
Oh, merci, Caren and yes, she was smart–plus she snuggled me ALL evening.
Hey, where did our comment go? We were typing along and poof, off went our comment into who knows where. We hadn’t even finished. Oh, the embarrassment of having paws instead of fingers at times. Hit one wrong key and … red face.
Oh, that NEVER happens to us. HAHA. Mama lost a whole comment to YOU just two days ago, Funny Farmers! Still looking for it.
What, no salmon for you? Papa better bring you home something tasty! Or your mama is in biiiiiig trouble!
We hope Mama feels better soon. That she sacrificed her party time to stay home with you and the salmon crackers shows a mother’s true devotion !
Well, she does, actually. I think it’s the “nip” tea made with ginger, lemon and honey. Also LOTS OF WATER and rest. Thank you.
