Are you saying that I sometimes SHED?
Well, mama was contacted by a friend who has a company that advises on how to keep your home free of allergens and more.
There is some very good advice on his site, so do try to take a look. I don’t do a lot of advertising on this blog, but Mark, the owner of the company, really has done lots of research on this, and mama was amazed at what she didn’t know about things floating around OUR house (uh, oh, does that mean they are going to use the woo-woo monster that sucks up things on ME?).
We’re sort of packing up here but we did get a little tree, finally, so now I can sleep under the sparkling lights and get in the mood.
When you’re a long time in one place, things get scattered around. For example, WHERE is my nip ‘nana? I have looked all over the place for it and all I can find are some pathetic cloth “mice” that mama stuffed with nip but that have lost lost their flavor (like the chewing gum on the bedpost overnight in that old song). I hope my nipbed at home is still growing in this weather. Probably not.
But at least I’ll be back in my garden and have something to LOOK at. I’m sort of tired of reading the Latin phrase on the building next door, which, due to its length, I will have to put in another blog, haha.
Meanwhile, I’m kicking back a little before THEY start packing. Hey, we still have a visitor to welcome, no?
Red suit, beard, travels with a pack of reindeer? Ring any bells? Haha.
Hey, Loulou – maybe that guy with the red suit has a nip nana in his bag of tricks? Now Mama has that chewing gum on the bedpost song in her head and she’s humming it. Arrrrgh, I want earmuffs for Christmas!! And no rain. And no travel. But I’m going to miss my Auntie Maria who had to cancel the trip because of cataract surgery coming up. But she’ll probably be coming in the spring with a BIG suitcase to look for a place to live – in Nice!!!! YEA!!!
Oh, but your papa is alone for xmas and no sis, right? Well, maybe we’ll ALL meet in the spring in that case. We really miss you, Mya, oh and those anthros, too. Hope you maman does a bang up job at her vernissage!
I am sure Santa will visit 🙂
Wait a minute. Does he come all the way to Italy? Here he is Babbo Natale, father christmas. Pretty name.
Aren’t you glad you don’t have to pack, Loulou? You can just lie back and snoopervise.
Oh, and am I good at that! Wish we could teleport.
Are you headed HOME,LouLou ! For the Ne Year ?
We are headed home next week after the family thing to be in our little ville for the New Year’s “theme”evening…SURREALISM. Boy, will we fit right in. These last two weeks of coughing, wheezing and general chaos have been REALLY surreal. I did a lot of following papa and mama around trying to make them feel better. Guess it worked! And mama says she think it was “smoking on a rubber cigar”..not riding!
