I’m getting soaked but I just had to see what all this wet is doing to Jean’s garden!
Well, rain is here. That water stuff that makes rattatat noises on mama’s skylight (actually it’s making mud, as that thing really needs cleaning…) and the same stuff that makes it not so much fun to go out and cat around, haha.
Mama and her friend missed the outdoor market and a little chat with coffee but maybe that’s good–it makes mama WORK, as in using brushes and paint!
Frankly, I am perfectly happy with my portrait by Mya’s mama and now papa is putting it where I sleep or sit to make me think I have company! Is that funny or what? They must think I am really dumb, when I know perfectly well that this wonderful likeness of me is the real dummy! Mama said, “Loulou, you could write Gullible’s Travels, haha!”
But I didn’t quite get that…
Which twin has the Toni, haha? Whatever that means. Now mama is REALLY dating herself.
But with this rain, the poor little birdies’ food is all soggy, likewise their grease balls, as mama and papa call them, and heaven knows how they eat in this weather. The birdies, that is, not the greaseballs.
Maybe just tuck a head under a wing and snooze.
I’ll go with that…
😺😺😺😺😺
Today as a little extra info, I am including a lovely modern furniture maker’s site.
So many of you have kitty furniture or climbing thingies and this man makes very functional and very lightweight and easily attachable designs for kitties’ exercise and comfort. Very original.
Thanks for the ping thing.
Those ramps and ladders are cool but I am more of a ground dweller cat. I have no interest in climbing up to heights unknown, so to speak. But a good hammock by a window I might do. Although I think I would prefer the back of a recliner or sturdy chair. Luvz, Patzy
Oh, Patzy, I know what you mean. I do my rock every now and then but I think I have a bit of arthritis in a back leg…ah, youth.
Ohhhhh, Loulou – I have YOUR mama’s fun, wonderful portrait of me hanging over my bed, surrounded with all my toy-friends. Favorites iINSIDE the bed – Octo, String and Albi – and it’s my little “space”. Well, don’t princesses always have a portrait? It’s only fitting that we have one, non?
And we’re supposed to have rain Sunday and bits of snow later next week – EEK! Well, we’ll just get more snuggles, teehee.
Well, I hope it doesn’t snow when mama and papa are there!!! And guess what? The TRUFFLE festival in Albenque starts this weekend….whatever that is.
So you’re gullible, Loulou? Don’t worry. Many are. Enjoy the rat a tat. it can lull you to sleep.
ZZZZZZZZZZZ The Rat A Tat lullaby…
Thanks for the share. We are so happy to meet you. This is our first time on your blog. You are so adorable. Hope the rain let up a little. Have a wonderful day.
Well, welcome. We’ll come visit, too!
Thanks for the reply. Hope to talk to you soon.
It is raining here today too and there were several robins hopping around, eating crabapples off the trees. Apparently they winter over.
Yes, we have a tiny robin hopping around eating mama’s grease balls…actually eating bread and cracker crumbs. Maybe mama should dig up some worms…haha.
What a lovely portrait! I’m sure you didn’t pose as long as that would take 🙂
Well, if i had been asleep…but no, the fantastic artist https://annesp6.wixsite.com/anne-pujalte is really amazing. She did it from a photo I think. Take a look at her site.
