What’s a shoure soote anyway?*
Well, mama is really bad, as in baaaaad….
She sent off a few emails to friends, asking them if they were ready to babysit, because she found she was preggies!
Oh, boy, what chaos, and then mama sent immediately a big-lettered email saying APRIL FOOLS!!!
Was that baaaaad or WHAT?
So happy April to all of you and I hope Ms Spring is not far behind with her flowers and sweet showers and warm days.
Oh, I forgot to tell you–you can babysit my little kittens, too.
Wait a minute. What’s “preggies”…?
HAHAHA APRIL FOOLS.
I wish that were April FOODS!
*sweet showers (Chaucer)
LOL! Samantha might well ask “What’s the droghte of March and where can we get some?” March was very rainy, as were February, January, and December. People living near the river have been bringing photos of water levels into my town and putting out feelers about where they’ll go if Aprille with his shoures soote bring them a real flood.
Oh, it’s pouring here, too, and I am housebound!!! Not so good, but I do have my little bowl in the john where I …er..you know.
LouLou that was pretty funny of Mom to do
We like the idea of April Food too MOL
Timmy and Family
Well, it’s April, WHERE’S THE FOOD?
Oh your mama is funny!
She’s a card, all right. The joker.
You really April Fooled them!
Have a wonderful Tuesday…
Noodle and crew
LOVE your blog, Noodle. Very thoughtful always.
Loulou, your mama has the best sense of humor!! She makes me laugh a lot even when it’s not April Fool’s Day!
Oh, we love YOURS, TOO! You always GET everything. With mama’s humor, sometimes others just sort of look blank.
LOL – well, mama got an april fool note from your mama and it was blank!! So she just figured “fill in with whatever” and when I saw your headline I thought you’d been into the limoncello! Well, in less than a week, I’ll introduce my puppies to your kittens. I have no idea who the father is – do you?
MYA, you BAAAAAAD doggy. And don’t bring any puppies into THIS house. My xanax ran out.
Oh, your mama is indeed baaaaaaad! haha!
Jan said she won’t mind baby sitting your kittens, Loulou. 🙂
Oh, yes, I can just see Jan with a slew (whatever that is) is little myowing kitties for Marcus to babysit….haha.
Too funny! I got had many times today too!
Oh, mama is such a kid! How did you get had?
Ah LouLou – thank goodness (for you and Mama) those are April Fools.
When I was in high school we had to learn the Prologue to The Canterbury Tales*…several of us had fun reciting it at our 50th class reunion.
*we also learned the Preamble of the Constitution and The Gettysburg Address, lest someone think we were unAmerican.
Now who would ever think that? Still, it is good to have certain things in the memory for posterity. Mama loved Dylan Thomas and learned Fern Hill and still knows a bit but some is gone…
