Should I worry?
Well, everyone in this house is in love with the little marble horse. I can’t really say ‘pony’ because it seems to be a full-size horse even though awfully small and compact. The sculptor lived near the marble quarries in Italy, and mama thinks he is one of the best there is and yet she has not seen his works before.
Mama could not help herself, and gave him a hug around the neck, a pat on the cheek and marveled at his little eyelashes and sweet hooves. He really is a charmer. Mama and papa had gone to a show about women in paintings and women artists, but this little guy stole everyone’s heart.
Uh, oh, I think we have a problem here…
At least that horse won’t leave a mess!
Haga, you are funny!
oh my he is gorgeous and so big!! Mama looks beautiful as always!
Yes, he was lucky to work with them!
Don’t worry, Loulou.
A marble horse is alright now, but come Winter and both your mama and papa will be more than happy to have a warm kitty to lay their hands on.
Ah…the voice of reason.
Oh dear, Loulou, your mama is looking at that horse as though she may take him home. You may have to share your kitty bed. 😉
NO, HE DOES NOT FIT!
Oooh, that does look very good indeed. Is it in your house now, or safely still in the gallery?
Lots of purrs
ERin
In the gallery, thank heaven.
Wow – that’s some horse!! And only a woman artist would think to add eyelashes, right, Loulou? But I think you’re safe and won’t have to share space, since it’s gotta be too heavy to carry up the stairs to your apartment! And I’ve never heard of a horse being potty-trained. So there. Have a spritz and celebrate. That’s what mama does……
Oh, but it was a male sculptor…interesting about the lashes.
Don’t worry. It’s the donkeys she’s really fond of, isn’t it? Uh, isn’t it?
What a memory, Jan. But I do not want THEM either.
That is beautiful.
A really lovely little horse.
