It’s a stretch! Anywhere you can find a place in this heat!
Well, maybe not exactly bothered, but if you can call eternal snuggles and tummy rubs a bother, then I AM bothered.
Maybe in this heat, it’s just better to sack out in a cool room on a soft bed and contemplate…whatever.
What do kitties contemplate anyway, I ask you? For me, today, it was the kibble in the morning and the chicken at night. HEY, that sounds like a possible musical something:
Got no bark, got no bite, still I’m a kitty with a lot of might, I’ve got the kibble in the morning and the chicken at night…la, la, la.
So I may be hot, but I guess I’ll just suffer through the tummy rubs and chalk up THEIR constant attention to anxiety about the canecule (heat wave).
Found another stretch place…ahhh.
And that chicken – it be toast – ’cause Loulou’s the kitty with the most – the most moxy and stealth – a huntress she be. With one lil’ stretch she’ll have the chicken dropping at her feet. Tee hee hee.
Wow, now THAT’S poetry!
You may be hot, but you can still make up cute rhymes, Loulou. 🙂 Hope it gets cooler soon.
It seems to want to stick around.
Wow – you and me BOTH, Loulou! We went for a walk yesterday and it was so hot and the air so heavy mama didn’t even want to go on to the market! I was in my poussette and they had the idea to let me romp in the water spray in the park – but it was closed for – Ironman. Can you imagine people running and exercising in this heat? Sometimes I think we’re the intelligent ones!
Melted iron man, I bet! Pewter man, haha.
Not sure that tune will be a big hit, Loulou, but if you keep working on it, you might hit the jackpot.
Hey, it was my first try…
It is hot here too, the worst part is the humidity.
Ah, that, we do not have. Yet…
We just hope your heat wave abates – and doesnt come “across the pond.”
Well, it is a big pond to cross. And tomorrow, the cool tramontane blows in.
I have to say, from where I do lay—on this hot nay sultry day
thy verse was cool and from my stool I say tummy rubs away!
OK so that was a poor attempt, but that is why I was dreaming of mice and sparrows under the aircon unit, MOL
Heres hoping your monster heatwave goes away and you get to suffer less tummy rubs and more stretches 😉

Oh, we, here, were all moved to beer, with your poetical style that we enjoyed for awhile! Thank you, we have seen the Erin of our ways…
