Well, a thoughtful friend/reader send this amazing article from The Guardian about goats and how they communicate so well with one another. Would that anthros could do as well, no? But I’m pretty good at timing my myows and snuffles and sighs and occasional howls so that mama and papa know exactly what’s needed.
Hey, the list is short:
Snuggles
Kibble and wet food
Tastes of steak or shrimp when they are around
More snuggles
Caresses
Scratching under the armpits (thanks to Ernie for this!)
So, communication isn’t really all that difficult for us, okay? It’s you anthros who can’t seem to get together often enough to listen to one another!
Maybe you anthros should try bleating, haha.
Oh WOW – I want to hear an ultrasonic rat giggle and go to a gorilla party!!! Mama says I wag my tail when I sleep sometimes, and she wonders what i’m dreaming about……teehee, I’ll never tell! She’s either guessing food or that cute westie on Cours Saleya – hmmm, does she have ESP?
Does ESP stand for Easy Silly Perceptions? We are so lucky to have BRAINS!
Oh, how true. Humans are so busy talking, they seldom realize someone else is speaking.
HEAR, HEAR!
I think we all need a goat!
Oh, mama would love that. No weeding….
I definitely speak cat. 🙂
Oh, yes, you do, and so well, too!
Research tells us that kitties communicate with each other with many sounds but their meows are reserved only for talking to humans. But t=research also says kitties cannot taste sweet.
Yeah, so what’s that I taste when I lick papa’s Magnum stick?
