Well, you have to see this to believe it.  When mama couldn’t find anything in which to crush ice, she remembered the chef hat a friend gave her and that her own papa had a canvas bag in which he put the cubes to whack ’em.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hey, the chef’s hat was made for a tiny head so now it’s part of our margarita starter kit.  So that’s the state-of-the-art method for perfect crushed ice for any drink.

But mama, don’t they make refrigerators with crushed ice coming out the front from a little thingy?  Here it’s called a frigo a l’Americaine, haha. Mucho $$.

I think we’ll just stick with the old meat cleaver trick for now.  With what’s going on in the world, anything to get  mama’s frozen margarita mix (maison-home made) into GLASSES, quick!
