Oh, goodness me, oh, what was THAT?
Oh, lordy, there was such a sudden downpour today with nuggets of something or other banging on mama’s skylight that I took off immediately for my place under the bed! Actually I found a better place with no THUNDER!
Large rolls of thunder, whatever that is, do not charm me!
Papa remembers when his daughter was little, he took her out in a storm to see that it was just sounds and lightning and really quite exciting, and she got over her fear.
Mama, DO NOT TAKE ME OUT IN THIS SRTOM, OKAY. See how nervous I am, I can’t even spell it!
(Okay, okay, the hail did NOT look like this – they were itsy bitsy little things, mama said, but do I care? They were LOUD and made of ICE.
Hey, maybe good for margaritas, mama.
But I hope this thundershower is OVER!
Hahaha, that picture is utterly adorable! It’s too bad you felt scared, but boy do you look cute when you are. Hugs to you…
I was just faking…
Lots and lots of much needed rain.
So far, no hail.
But today we’re having our yearly “brocante” (jumble sale?). Bad luck.
One side effect:
during the hot weather I had my bed all to myself whereas with this rather cold episode, it’s a bit crowded.
Kitties don’t like icy rain, as you may know, Loulou.
OH, to have a crowd “visiting”…lucky you. COLD here.
Wow – never thought of hail for margaritas – and how pretty, little round ice-cubes!! But probably full of pollution, non? Or maybe not! We had thunder and lightning here – and a bit of rain. But no hail. Wow, loulou, I wuld have been in your position – under the covers!!!
At least they didn’t hit ME!
Very wise but so is staying inside MOL!
Under bed. Warm. Private. No ice.
Sorry you took a fright.
Well, when the lights went out, it was a bit scary!
My Grampa did the same thing to my Mom when she was a kid to get her through her fear of T-storms too. Nowadays the neighbors would probably call Child Protective Services. But like your Mama’s ice crusher – if it works it works ! Probably not good for kitties though.
Well today for example a bolt of lightning hit right outside mama’s studio and then all the lights in the house went out and if I’d been out there trying to bond with thunderstorms I’d be long gone…
