(They really should have taken me–I’ve never met a duck.)
🌳
Well, papa was up in his room getting well at the clinic and not walking yet, but mama was able to take a stroll in the lovely park that runs alongside the buildings, and there were amazing trees and a little river that runs through it and a heron (?) and all sorts of birds.
(By the way, papa IS up and walking now on day three after the operation–amazing! It’s really amazing, to me, because when they fixed ME, I was flat on my back for a WEEK! I think it was a different “fix”…)
Mama had saved some old bread crusts from sandwiches, which she just happened to have in her purse because mama says that if there’s a park there are DUCKS, whatever they are.
The trees were pretty amazing, I have to say!
Wait a minute! Are these funny feathered floaters called DUCKS?
Well, even I know that is NOT a duck!
Boy, would I have had fun there…
But best to leave and not re-visit, if you get my drift, haha.
If those are what are called “ducks,” I think I’d like them served on my plate and rubbed with a lil’ bit of butter and garnished with nip! Nom nom nom. Winks.
Hey you’re going to need some help with those duckies and I’ll send you my number.
oooooh – that park looks so beautiful and peaceful! Wouldn’t it be fun to go there and chase the ducks? Well, that’s an overstatement since neither of us chase birds – what would we do with a duck!? WELL – I’ll see you on Tuesday and we’ll plot some mischief, non?
You can hit the tomato patch and I’ll play tennis with you with my ball.
I’m so glad your Papa is improving! Did you know ducks shouldn’t have bread, it will make them really sick.
How bizarre. The hospital said it was fine. Maybe they are another type of duck. Next time I’ll bring corn chips. What SHOULD they have, in your opinion?
That looks like a nice walk.
Very beautiful and calm. Good to have at a clinic.
Good thing you didn’t tangle with the ducks – or the heron. Better to admire them from a distance. Does Mama also carry some cat treats in her purse ?
You are psychic! YES she carries a packet of food for the street kitties, when they are out catting around on her walks. Also disposable dishes…
