Well. it’s full moon time again and mama says that she can’t believe where the days go from one full moon to the next! She took the “art” shot below out of our window, actually two, one from inside and one from the open door and I made sure they were in focus this time.
They often aren’t, I’m sure you’ve noticed…
But the moon is so magical to me. Do wolves really howl at the moon? Do witches really fly on their broomsticks across the full moon (well, in October anyway) and are anthros really “lunatics” when there is a full moon?
I think mama is affected by full moons and goes a little wee-wah (that word again, Brian) and when she was younger she used to moon bathe (one of those things you do when you’re young and foolish and think it will change your life, haha).
I, too, have found myself mesmerized by the moon and wanting to be in the garden, hunting for who knows what? Moon madness, that’s what it is, but it’s nice to have a moon instead of RAIN, oh boy, is it better!
So enjoy your moon tonight, wherever you nay be and know that we all share its beauty even when far away from one another…
Holidays are a little melancholy…I wish we were ALL in one place!
Maybe I’ll moon bathe tonight and see what changes in my kitty life…I think one lies like this to bathe in moonbeams, no?
It was too cloudy here last night for us to see the full moon. We’ll enjoy yours.
Oh, sigh, to miss a moon…so sad.
Those are great shots. I know coyotes do a lot of yipping when the moon is full.
I’ll drink to that!!! Er……have a kibble or two – to the full moon and no rain!!! We didn’t even know – but will look tonight for sure – since the next week? Rin every day and Friday they’re predicting a BIG one, where they predict “grains violents”!! YIKES! Well, hope the weather’s better there – we’ll go out today and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!!!!
OH, NO….HAIL!!! Do NOT go out in hail, Mya. You could get knocked on your noggin.
Oh yea Loulou, ya gotta watch out for the full moon wee-wahs!
We’re watchin’, we’re watchin’!
Some people observed that the full moon was on 12/12 so they observed it at 12:12 a.m. But we just stayed warm and cuddled up.
Oh, we love those things but missed the 12:12 on the 12/12. Darn.
