I have to have a passport to travel – that’s my photo that says, “Don’t mess with me.”
Well, I was a dream on that very calm sea (aside from being stoned on Beaphar, which appeared to work better this time), relaxing in my dark little closet corner on a nice soft poofie sort of thing, and when we had to wait an HOUR before we could go to our cars and exit the ship, I passed the time eyeing a beige boxer who entertained me no end by being a complete nutcake – falling down on his master’s feet so that the poor anthro couldn’t move his legs, sticking all four of his paws in the air, things like that. Doggies are weird, but it kept me occupied.
Then there were the two silly springer spaniels, yipping and yapping like madmutts – oh, it was fun, I tell you.
Now we’re back and mama is making black-eyed peas for good luck on New Year’s Day, whatever that is. I think there are going to be loud things happening around Tuesday eve…
And this little ville has a theme for each New Year’s, the one this time being Bollywood. I said to mama, “Hey if papa doesn’t get out his Nehru jacket, he’ll be sari!” Ha,ha,ha.
I’d bet rupees on almost every female anthros coming to the fete with a red dot on her forehead! Cheap costume, right? Plus, it’s freezing out there and mama is not about to go out in a few yards of silk, no way, Bombay!
As for my costume, I’m going as a cobra and have mama play a flute and I’ll slither out of a basket and hiss.
I look sort of snaky sneaky, no?
How about this?
Okay, okay, I get the picture, I know when it’s best to just stay home…
Mama can’t play the flute anyway, so there.
If you’re like a snakey I wonder if you have a rattle at the end of your tail. If so, it could keep dancers in step to the pawrty music. Tee hee hee.
Hey, shake, rattle and roll, no?
We’re glad you survived your travels, Loulou. You look like you’re doing some yoga moves.
Hey, it’s a little tantric exercise…
WOW, Loulou – such good news that all worked out well on the “cruise ship”, teehee!! Did you get champagne and caviar. Probably not. But the doggies sounded fun! Just glad you’re home and it worked out so well. Whew. You can practice your Indian dance moves for the theme. We’re hoping to see photos!!
Maybe I’m already in costume. Hmmm. But I don’t remember tuxedos in Bollywood films…
Glad you are home safe. I need some luck, I better make some black eyed peas.
Yes, yes, black-eyed peas NOW. But you must eat them on New Year’s Day (with a little milk punch to liven up the meal…). 1 glass milk, dash of vanilla, 1/2 jigger of Jack Daniels, 1 scant teaspoon sugar, dusting of nutmeg….
Glad you are home safe. You do look snaky!
I think I grew longer in Italy. Maybe it was the spaghetti.
Well, LouLou, you do look a bit serpentine !
Strange, no? I don’t remember any long skinny relatives.
