Well, all I can say is that mama is cruel and malicious, cutting up carrots and celery and sweet onions to add to the bones from a BIG FREE-RANGE CHICKEN she brought home from the market! Whatever free-range is…
I think it’s something like this: I visit a chicken farm and all the poor birdies are in cages and miserable. Then I visit another one and they are all outside, pecking away at whatever chickens peck at and running around liked crazed weasels, having the time of their lives and scratching away at the chicken yard in a sort of salsa step. In fact chickens are probably good dancers, if you stop to think about it.
Okay, don’t stop.
But back to basics. Simmering chicken broth could drive a kitty (and papa) NUTS! PAZZO! OVER THE EDGE! COO-COO!
Mama, please put lid on that soup so I can’t sniff it! But when it’s done and cooled a bit, I’m going to dive in and swim around.
Uh, oh, papa’s putting on his bathing suit, too…hope there’s room for both of us…
But it IS a big bowl!
OH, DARN! I just found out that I can’t have any! Oh, evil, sadistic mama...
Okay, okay, I did get some chicken before this dastardly deed was done.
BUT NOT ENOUGH!
Yeah I live with one of those evil sadistic Mamas too. She makes chicken and it’s “No Cody, you can’t have it, it has garlic in it” She makes shrimp, “No Cody, you can’t have it, I have sauce on it” I swear they deliberately sabotage us! Love, Cody
Oh, Cody, we had better unionize, doggies who are fed cucumbers included, and get these malicious anthros back in LINE!
We were going to say that you better have gotten some chicken before she added all that stuff to it. Then we saw your last sentence.
Yes it’s too bad about kitties not being able to have onions and leeks and shallots whatever they are because I’m pretty sure I’d like them but yes I did get plain old chicken.
MOL…I could hear you shout out loud to here, LouLou…what a delicous soup that must have been😸Pawkisses for a Happy Monday🐾😽💞
It was smelly at least, haha, and tasty, I am sure and iI did get some chicky.
Yum that looks delicious, Loulou! I think I’ll also put my bathing suit on. 😉
Hey, come on in, the chicken broth is FINE.
Well, at least you got some chicken before it landed in the soup!! And veggies – I love them, but mostly I get cucumber bits since they have practically no calories. Calories? Do they think I’m fat??!! I’m going to have to grow my fur back out so they don’t notice since with the trim, they can see my curves. Oy, what we go through, huh, Loulou?!
Oh, Mya, mama said that you were so tight and muscular and svelte! She svelte your little tummy and it was tiny compared to MINE!
Uh Oh – I see cucumbers in your future – and mine, teehee!!!
I’ve never tried them. Do they taste like chicken? Uh, oh, mama bought one today…but think she’s making raita for curry. I PRAY!
Did you get ANY chicken broth at ALL?!?!?!?!
OME TINY SPLASH (on my chopped up chicken, I admit, haha).
Lots of things sure smell good while they are cooking up!
In this house your smeller is always twitching!
Nothing like homemade chicken soup !
Well, this one was a doozie and mama took out all the carrots and ate them herself! And there ARE carrots in my kitty food (just not tainted by a little white wine, haha).
Oh the humanity!!!! Mixing veggies with chicken…!
These anthros have no idea of what a chicken means to a kitty!
I am sure glad you got some chicken.
Well, ys, before all that other stuff went in along with vino!
LouLou we get the chick-hen too and like you never enough. What is with that. Dont they know when they cook one up we need one too… sigh
Yes, didn’t someone say, “Two chickens in every pot”?
