This poor little flapper landing on our terrace is pretty normal-looking compared to SOME!
Well, I could not resist having this video on today’s blog! Mya’s mama’s friend, Bettie, sent it to her and then she to my mama and I could hear mama’s exclamations from (her viewing on her IPad) all over the house!
I watched this afterward and wondered just what nature had in mind with these guys! Or ladies, what do I know?

We love watching the birds though since we moved, we don’t get as many birds around here as we used to get. But now we have ducks, geese and swans.
You kitties are so lucky to live where you do. We have gulls, doves and pi (s), those black and white birds that are colored like ME! They are the thieves of the bird world but so beautiful.
Wow, those birds do make the backyard birds look like they are due for a makeover! Thanks for the smiles today LouLou!
Maybe I should weave plumes in my fur like mama….

I love watching birds, Loulou. I had a sweet one visit me the other day with a twig in it’s mouth. So industrious.
End it could have had all the hair trimmings that mama took off our neighbors hair just last week in the patio.
LOL – Loulou, if we saw some of these creatures we would freak OUT! We didn’t know birds like these existed – and hope they stay around for future generations to ogle over! All I see here are pigeons, seagulls and those HUGE goelands! They look like THEY may have had dinosaur heritage! teehee – the tourtourelles could use a bit of color!
Oh, that’s all we have, too. Except for the Pi or Pie or Pee, haha. Those birds will steal the shirt off your fur!
