You know, sometimes you wake up and think uh, oh, it’s pouring rain and I have to have my anti-flea-and-tick drops today and then the vet has to check my teeth and mama is STILL giving me rations for a mouse and why has she taken all the sheets off the bed where I am SLEEPING (oh, okay, sheet- washing day, Wednesday) and when is this diet EVER going to be over and and then this, from Mary McNeil (thank you!) made my/our day.
So great to wake up with a smile and see so many toy animals who have been kind enough to have adopted REAL ones who were lonely!
Hmm…I’m thinkin’ maybe for me a stuffed donkey…or maybe a dishy Tom stuffed with nip to cuddle up with! A stuffed (very small, thank you) Marcus?
Loulou, you’re too old for that hanky panky!
MAMA—you just told me the other day that you are NEVER TOO OLD FOR JUST ABOUT ANYTHING!
Anything stuffed with nip would be fun to cuddle with, Loulou.
Yes, I wonder, does mama stuff her pockets?
Those animals are too cute, Loulou, the real and the stuffed. Oh, and doesn’t you mama know that DIET is a four-letter word? 😉
I’ll pass that on RIGHT NOW!!!No cussing around here, mama.
What an adorable post – those pictures (and captions, teehee) !!!!! Loulou – you need menagerie. Mya inherited a few – including Bébé Rosie – the toy I bought for our Rosie (who came over from New Orleans – an SPCA rescue, and lived to 16 years in spite of an array of maladies) but she became so obsessed with it, since it looked like her, I had to hide it! But now Mya is enjoying her. I think it has to be the right stuffed animal that they relate to. Or not. Mya loves Dino – the dinosaur!
Mary Mc Neil sent that. Just adorable, but I wish I had ALL those sweet animals here with ME! They could pretend I’m stuffed. Which I am CERTAINLY not on this diet!
I agree with your mama, one is never too old for anything.
Maybe she would make us a list and get yours, too!
Right now three kitties are cuddled up to me. Hmm.
Do they think you are a wonderful stuffed toy? Lucky you!
