Well, around here it feels as if I am losing grams every few seconds! Does it really take STARVATION to be svelte? I think not. AND, just this morning I played with mama on the bed before my petit dejeuner and was full of energy, a sure sign that I have dropped a few grams and have the resulting vitality, whatever that is.
And these guys think that I am going to stand around and not get CHEESE while they make burritos tonight? Mama made flour tortillas this afternoon to wrap around black beans and rice and it was I who suggested using French mimolette in place of unobtainable cheddar! So I should be rewarded, no? Cheese, Louise, what are they thinking?
Olé, rancheros! I’m getting out my sombrero and guitar for the Cuban/Mexican/whatever repas tonight.
Maybe a little guacamole will be flung my way, heh heh.

Well, we have chicken molé and chili con carné in the freezer. Today it is raining, so this may be a good time to eat spicy Mexican food! (though chili is sorta Tex-Mex – but still good on a rainy day!) Mama is too lazy to make her own tortillas but they have them at Super-U around the corner. Probably nowhere near as good as homemade – but hey – tortilla chips! And salsa! OK. Lunch figured out!! Gracias Loulou!!!!
We had salsa and chips before dinner and that salsa was WARM!!! Mama even made it half-strength but wowser. And THEY had margaritas…..not me, sigh.

Cheddar unattainable ? Por que ?
Cheddar is very hard to find in France unless at a high-end cheese shop or out huge supermarkets, like Intermarche, and we are NOT going into supermarkets at all right now. Mimolette is a yellow cheese that can be young or aged and the aged one is pretty cheddary, but in Rome mama did find actual cheddar but it was white and from England.
