Hey, mama, pull that curtain, you may be awake but I’m snoozing.
Well, okay, we are up and at ’em quite early, with a delightful morning laugh from an email or a bit of positive news from The Optimist, a Washington Post newsletter, and that’s about all we can do right now to handle these unusual and sometimes puzzling days.
Always a surprise, these moments of joy or clarification about just where all of us are headed, and no surprise are the scientists and doctors hard at work to keep us informed daily about the world situation.
So perhaps this little concert from Mya’s mama might brighten your morning — feel free to send it on to others.
Who knows what a squirrel in your neighborhood might be up to….
Dad started gardening but does say that learning about seedlings and getting them to actually be plants is a challenge
Well, these little p……..t seedings turned out to be HUGE tomato bushes with HUGE sauce tomatoes popping out all over the place, so you just have to have faith, mama says. Let them get a rood root system going and then take off the bottom two leaves and plant them in good soil all the way up to the first set of nice leaves and top. That will make roots all the way down the original stem and help the plant be healthier.
We don’t know about squirrels, but we’ve been watching the bunnies that have been coming into our yard.
Hey, they probably have a great dance troupe! The Bunny Hops.
Isn’t that a wonderful video concert? We loved it. I think at night when we’re all SOUND ASLEEP the woodland animals get up to all kinds of fun…..we have woods around our house and see lots of critters during the day but at night….well….I’m sure ANYTHING GOES!
Hugs, Teddy
How lovely to have woods all around. Are there mushrooms, too?
That was great, Loulou. Animals and opera – two of my favourites combined.
Ours, too!
teehee – such a fun concert – and Mama’s hero is Dr. Fauci!!! She won’t even think about taking a coronavirus vaccine until HE says it’s OK! But is hoping a good one comes up soon – but who knows!?
We, too, will not touch a vaccine until the master says GO. He is amazing, such a brilliant man working for such a stupid president. Too bad that even a tiny bit of his masterful handling of the covid crisis didn’t rub off on the idiot.
LOL – Well said!!!!!
Merci, Mya the Magnificent.
That movie was fun, but we are kind of glad the birds don’t really sing that loud in the morning. The Katydids are worming up, but haven’t got to their full chant yet. And there are a few locusts, but it’s not one of their banner years.
You’re going to have a full-blown orchestra before long that’s for sure! Will you sing with them?
That concert was really fun Loulou!
Well, it brings a smile and that’s about all we can do right now.
