Mama, Maybe I could get a pilot’s license!
Well, this is such a lovely story, I thought you might like to be uplifted, no pun intended!
Out of this wonderful man’s grief came his heroic actions to save dogs from overcrowded euthanasia shelters and fly them to safe ones.
And I do like to give doggies equal space on my blog every now and then, haha.
I also love the name of the man’s business…a twist of words.
When mama opens her IPad for headlines each morn, I can tell what she has seen from either the despairing look on her face or a nice bright grin at something positive from reading The Optimist! Like this story.
Mama says it’s hard to weed out the downers, as there are so many negative stories right now because of the spike in COVID cases and the unbelievable untruths being presented as facts from the T campaign.
Does he think the American people are really that naive?
Whoever T is…
I don’t think we would be friends, that’s for sure.
But I am thinking that this little doggy mama and papa saw on a balcony down the street might be fun to know! Certainly a cutie pootie. Do chihuahuas speak Spanish?
Guess I had better brush up…
Anyone who helps those who are coming closer to the day of the dreaded E are hero’s in our eyes
Yes, absolutely. A wonderful man!
Wes readed that story this week! And wes is pretty sure Dogs speak Dog (but purrhaps that is Spanish…). Wes knows Cinnamon only understands about 1/4 of what Mom says to her!
Purrs
Marv, Jo Jo, Kozmo, Cinnamon and Angel Nellie
Or maybe Cinnamon understands everything but just doesn’t want to let on…
I think that doggie meant T-bone, LouLou, he must be very hungry..MOL😸Pawkisses for a Happy Sunday🐾😽💞
Definitely, T-bone, for sure! Wish we had one around here….
We do need more good news, Loulou. Thanks for sharing this story…even if it meant going to the dogs. 😉
Oh, you funny kitties. YES, I go to the dogs at least twice a year in blogs or when there is a nice uplifting (haha) story….Thank you for reading. Now my Reply works. If only I could get my Add Media to work or I’ll have to stop blogging until it’s fixed!!!!!
We don’t believe much of what T has to say – we try to ignore it (which is hard to do!!). Anyway, there are so many who are trying to help cats and dogs who are scheduled for euthanasia in finding the RIGHT place to shelter and find a home. A lot of pilots are moving animals around to better opportunities and we bless them for being saviors for so many. Makes our hearts HAPPY!
Happy Sunday
Love, Teddy
Yes, it’s wonderful that so many altruistic anthros take care of so many abandoned sweet animals.
We limit our news input because like your Mum we find some of the stuff online truly terrible.Ignorance and fear run riot so it is good to see you and your * cough cough * Little friend!
Mama has pretty much decided that if it’s not good news or positive news, she’ll opt for her nice books that make her smile or just go in the garden and meditate on a tomato, haha. I mean, not ON the tomato, WITH the tomato.
What a great story about the dog rescuer LouLou ! I didn’t know about this but I did know about Wings of Rescue, which flies kitties sometimes too !
https://wingsofrescue.org/
Oh, WONDERFUL, Wings of Rescue, and wonderful, too the seafaring kitty. Mama is reading that now because your sweet emails come in around snooze time here, 11pm or so.
I think that doggy used to work at Taco Bell!
You are too funny. I think he did too! LOVED that doggy. Well, mama loved that doggy. I’m not sure I was born yet, haha.
