Don’t you worry, Loulou, your TV will work soon. It’s just having some interference.
Okay, mama bought this little bird feeder because her sisinlaw says that in Sonoma, all the birdies are so cute to watch feeding at their snazzy feeder. It was a surprise for papa and an outdoor TV for me, but have we had ONE LITTLE BIRDIE visit?
NO WAY, JOSE, only the tourterelles, who hog all the sunflower seeds and fight each other like crazy, having dust-ups over the seeds.
Mama now has several packages of hulled sunflower seeds that she thought would be gone by now, so I guess we are all going to be munching them for some time, haha.
And all of this, because mama put the feeder on the terrace, out of the lemon tree, thinking it couldn’t be found easily in the tree for some unknown bird-reason.
But even on the terrace, none of our little sparrows seems to care one way or the other.
But SOME found it and now we have a problem: to fill or not to fill the feeder?
“Move over, birdbrain, that’s MY SEED!”
Those pigeons can be so annoying. We have a feeder and fortunately we’ve only gotten nice birds like sparrows and finches. They are fun to watch.
Well, tell them to tell their friends in France to visit!!!
Oh my! Build it and they will come – great adage but who will come and will you want them? Well at least you have some feathers to watch. Me, I’d want to be watching them from the other side of the glass, if you know what I mean, MOL

I have to admit, the tourterelles get really boring as all they do is spook at any movement or noise and flap in the air, but it’s amusing for a short while…ho hom.
Oh, Loulou – we have birds all over the place – and seems like so much more after the coronavirus lockdown. People are feeding them – and they’re eating our plants. Maybe we should feed them, too. But it’s illegal here – but who will see? Everybody feeds them. At least the big seagulls have stopped emptying the garbage cans!!
Seagulls are the worst! Some days mama calls me in because she’s afraid one will want ME, BUT I’m a bit too roly poly I think, haha. I would give him what for!
Mom used to put sunflower seeds out on the patio. Dad put and end to it when he found that mousies were stock piling the seeds under the house. Tee hee hee.
THOSE BAD LITTLE RODENTS! I had better tell mama..
All of us love watching the birds, squirrels, chipmunks and deer visit our bird feeders. I guess in our case we’re happy to feed anyone who stops by!
Hugs, Teddy
Well, our resto is open but no takers!
You have a lot of bird tv. Keep feeding 🙂
Well, those doves are pretty wild to watch. Very nit picky and not very nice to one another.
Those birds will always find the food!
I didn’t know our doves were so belligerent amongst themselves…
Oh wow – those are big birds. Nothing small arriving at all. That’s tough 🙁
Well, mama has put out the suet balls, next to the feeder. If they don’t see the seeds, well……
Looks like a lot of bird action Loulou
Yes, but to me it is FOR the birds.
It is getting chilly enough here that we need to start filling the birdfeeders again. We gave up over the summer because they has become raccoon feeders. It takes some of the birds awhile to realize there are feeders available, but maybe those big doves are scaring them off ?
Oh those little birdies get along really well with the doves and if anything chases anybody it’s the little ones chasing the doves away!
