Giving serious thought to a costume.
You know, this year, we’re just not in the Halloween, Toussaint, All-Saints’ Day mood. Mostly because there has been too much illness and pain for families and it’s not as easy to dress up in a ghost or witch or any spooky costume as it was when the world was fairly normal.
But, there are other choices of course. I have my pig and cow masks…hmm…I think there is another one lying around somewhere…maybe that one would work.
Well, we still have 11 days to make these earth-shaking decisions, sigh…
I’ll put my thinking cap on (whatever that is). Wait a minute, do we even HAVE one of those around here?
And is it my size?
How about just giving the Evil Eye to everyone?

I’m practicing, but it’s against my kind and sweet nature, haha.
I’m just hoping the dreaded chicken hat stays hidden this year!

You have a couple of pretty fun masks you could wear! Halloween is very different this year indeed – same for the other holidays to come. Let’s just hope next year this time we can celebrate with each other and not “at a distance” !

Well, at least we have our sharing of thoughts and words with one another. And yes, I’ll come up with something by the Blue Moon. Militza says we are having a blue moon on Halloween! Should be beautiful to see but will it look like a pumpkin?
Awwww – Mamma is getting nostalgic!!!! Pepper and Rosita (the dogs in New Orleans – and later in Paris) ALWAYS had costumes for Halloween! Not Sassy the cat, though. Maybe cats do’t like the attention – but we doggies do!!!

LOL – I’m not into howling – but that would be a good excuse! Halloween has been called off in Nice!!! But maybe I will howl for the fun of it!!
I’m sure you three will think of something fun to do. Maybe maman will make pumpkin risotto or something…

Halloween is also a Full Moon ! The second full moon this month, which makes it a Blue Moon !
Oh, mama will love that. So will papa’s ex-wife, with whom mama has a lovely friendship. Both moon children, late June for Gabriella and mama, July.
