Well, normally I do not put things in French in my blog, but I think this one is pretty easy to get: The wife is telling the husband what’s for dinner, savory beef, irresitable salmon or exquisite chicken.
And the husband answers, “I’ll have the irresistable salmon” but his wife is talking to the CAT, haha.
Okay, okay, well, I thought it was funny. (And Mya’s maman‘s cousin Gary, who sent it to her.)
Almost the end of the year, yikes…I figured we needed a laugh or two to start the three-day journey to the 31st!
So, mama, where is my Porc au Poivre???
Hee Hee we do eat better than our parents Loulou
So funny. Peasant under glass….
The mom sometimes says we eat better than her and the dad!
I think we do, haha.
HA! My Mom was pretty proud of herself remembering just enough of her high school French to figure that cartoon out without googling a word! I hope your bowl didn’t go empty for too long Loulou – we need our strength !!!!
Hugs, Teddy
It was funny, no? And good French lesson.
YEAH – and Mamma had better not mess with my paté, hehheh …… Loulou, I see you are waiting for the Saumon irrésistible!!I’ll take any of those mentioned!!!!
That is funny. I was able to read most of it on my own and I haven’t had a French class since I was a senior in high school- 1987.
Sorry I missed this comment.
Yes, we enjoy this comic strip (in English). The cat’s name is Muffin,, btw. The strip is “Pickles” and is on gocomics.com if anyone wants to read it daily.
Menu planning is hard work Loulou!
Sorry, I missed your comment…spacey today.
