Loulou, you do not have to go out today, okay?
Well, it WAS a fun day, but not outside. It is freezing outside even if that amazing hibiscus is still putting out flowers! He must be mixed up with seasons…four more flowers about to open and I think it snowed for three minutes last night!
I think he is only trying to make us light-hearted after all the brouhaha of the week…
Thank you, Bisky.
I, on the other hand, I cannot put out flowers but I can have great fun indoors on the bed with strings! Or whatever is at hand. Makes mama laugh, and that’s what we need!
Maybe I’ll re-think this game…I can’t lose any more teeth!
And, by the way, do they have hibiscus in ALASKA?
Loulou I really love a nice string myself. You can bite, chew, grab, flip, trap, trip, chase, watch or ignore them. Yep you can
I like that last part, haha. Kind of the way we treat anthros.
Great that you’re keeping your mama amused, Loulou. I think we could all do with more laughter these days.
Oh, I try, I try. It’s my feet she loves to gaze upon and gets a kick out of. Not literally….
Good job keeping your Mama entertained! I do that for my Mom too. “What the world needs now is love, sweet love AND giggles!!”. Amazing your hibiscus is blooming. I think you’re right – it’s just trying to cheer you all up!
Hugs, Teddy 🙂
Yes, we are the world’s best entertainment.
WELL, Loulou – glad you had fun – THEY left me while they went to a lunch – but I got even. I slept in my own bed last night. Well, the weather was nasty and wet – but I could have worn my raincoat! They didn’t even bring back goodies!
Uh, oh, the beginning of the end…diet maybe?
Hmm I need to ask a yoga pal who is from Alaska. Hibiscus eh?
It was sort of a joke. Hibiscus grow in Hawaii and warm climates but this one has four flowers at zero degrees!
Mom doesn’t grow any Bisky’s in her garden, but says come spring she might try to find one to bring home from the nursery. To answer your question, she found the following info. online:
“There are twenty-two species of Hibiscuses that grow wild in the Continental United States. The only state with no wild hibiscuses: Alaska”
Oh, thank you mom and Valentine. This one is clearly full of vim and vigor.
Good idea, you don’t want to lose teeth. XO
I only have four on one side and my four in front……
Be careful you don’t get too wrapped up in those strings, LouLou.
I don’t know much about Alaska, but I have heard that they can grow orange trees in Anchorage because of the ocean currents. (or because of greenhouses//)
Wow, cool!!! Will research but that was a tongue in cheek comment. They are warm weather plants, as in Hawaii.
Dang good bitey Loulou!
I think I had more teeth then….
