I have resigned myself to holding my own paws because I’m going to have to love myself all by myself if these outbursts of ecstasy over tiny creatures continues in this household!
So here’s the story: mama and papa went to visit two friends (at a distance) and take them some guacamole and hot sauce and chips , which is not relevant to the event but what the heck, and while they were standing in the parking area of the friends’ apartment, a tiny little black doggy came running up to them and practically jumped into mama’s arms!
Named Réglisse….Licorice!
(Notice the open hands of mama encouraging said wiggling doggy to leap into her arms yet again to be snuggled and cuddled in much the same manner as I AM SNUGGLED AND CUDDLED!)
And of course I had to hear about this incredibly cute, darling, friendly, energetic, sweetie pie of a little doggy for about a HOUR! Jeez, mama, tiny little active puppies certainly have their attraction, but couldn’t you have cut the report on your encounter SHORT?
Okay, okay, here is the new rule: NO MORE VISITING FRIENDS! You never know what could happen,…
Licorice, indeed…mama doesn’t even LIKE licorice!
One must learn to love oneself before one can love tiny, wiggling, silly…er…sweet little puppies.
Haha, mama had to use hand cleaner three times! Served her right.
OMG LOULOU!!! Just make sure your Mama doesn’t get any ideas to bring one of those home!!!! Love, Roary
No way Jose!!!
Well at least she didn’t bring Licorice home with her.
Shhh. Do not give her any ideas!
Well puppies are always adorable – just like all kittens are – but there simply is no comparison between a DOG and a lovely girlie cat like you Loulou so don’t you worry about that. I’m sure your Mama has seen the error of her ways making such a big deal about a DOG. Seriously!
Hugs, teddy
Oh yes I have shown her the error of her ways you can bet your boots!
Nobody can resist a cute little puppy, Loulou.
Oh so mama’sjust like everybody else I guess and I’ll try to put up with it.
Oooooh – Réglisse is soooooo cute – he would make a good playmate for you!? Well cats and dogs don’t always get along – and Sassy and Pepper were the ultimate! BUT they loved each other in their own way. Whatever that is….
I wish so much I had known Sassy! What a kitty.
Mommy is a sucker for tuxies. You are too cute.
I’m so sorry I realize that I didn’t see this comment when it came in and it has been along time since you made one so I’ll go to your site and let you know about this and thank you for visiting visiting.
Your Mom’s heart belongs to you sweet LouLou, no worries. That is a cute little wiggly pup … oops, sorry I couldn’t help myself!
Well, he really was cute, for a puppy…it is ok to adore those wigglers.
I bet you could still smell Puppy through the hand cleaner LouLou !
Ha ha you got it! Nothing can mask the scent of adorable wigglers. Always tell-tail, haha.
Shocking Lulu, just terrible. You need to demand cuddle compensation! Double rations!!
Yes, a great idea, thank you, and for sure those doubly warm cuddles.
I would hold your paw for you. I always hold my Sammy’s paws.
Well, mama holds mine, too, and my feet to keep them warm sometimes. But I would love a paw hold with you, Ellen.
Loulou, the only thing worse than your pawrents talking about and petting said creatures is to have one live with you! The hairy slobbery sister Cinnamon makes my tail poof at least elebenty billion times a day and my Mom says she stays! You are awesome! Have a marvellously happy (and dog free) day!
Oh, boy, a hairy, slobbery sis would, I am sure, test one’s tolerance. Bonne chance, mes amis!
Well, puppies are pretty darn cute Loulou but sadly they’re not cats.
oh mi cod!!! a poopin puppy!!! how rood
Well, he wasn’t poopin’. Just too cute for words. Grrrr
