Well, I think, even when they grow up, all kitties love being in kittygarden at one time or another, if only to scratch up the mulch and help grow the flowers, right, if you get my drift…?
And if I were an expert hunter, as so many of my kitty friends appear to be (whilst I languish among the lilies), it would be my very own Garden of Eatin’, haha!
So I think I’ll just lie here and ruminate on garden thoughts.
Was that a little flower with a tail and ears that just crossed my line of sight? Funny, haven’t seen that flora before…
Perhaps a fauna, whatever that is, or maybe that’s a stretch…
Well go give it a sniff LouLou!
Maybe a bit less sugar with the sardines the next time, haha.
I wish I had a garden like you do LouLou!! Yours is lovely! Love, Roary
Oh, Roary, to have you in our garden even for a minute would be wonderful. You have a beautiful face, so sweeet.
Loulou, I never get to go outside. The last time I did, I got really scared and tried to run away so the mom doesn’t think me being outside is a good thing. I’ll watch the garden from inside. ~Ernie
Well, Ernie, I am an inside kitty, too, and the garden is fenced and small and I can’t climb any longer so I’m safe. But big seagulls scare ME.
Lucky you to have a garden to enjoy….my Mom’s “garden” consists of a few pots up on our back deck…one will hold a tomato plant soon….another some fresh rosemary….and all the rest will be flowers. Not much of a garden huh? I can’t roll around in it though – the pots are too small for my LARGE SELF.
Hugs, Teddy
Mama gardened in pots for YEARS in LA. It’s wonderful, too, even if you can’t roll in the pots, but you can smell and look an enjoy the pots. Tell your mama to plant some nip………doesn’t take much.
We have a small patch of nip in the front….I only pay attention to it in the late Fall after it’s crunchy and dead. HAHAHAHA I guess I just don’t like it when it’s pretty, green and fresh! Yes I know I’m weird. That’s OK….Mom loves me like I am….haha
Hugs, Teddy
Oh, Teddy, and WE love you just as you are so DO NOT CHANGE. Dry and crisp is best (just do some research in the ‘60s, haha).
What a pretty garden to roll around in, Loulou. It’s a cat’s life.
Yes, I love the mulch, which is lightweight chopped up paille de chaunvre…a kind of hemp, but very dry and light for mama to throw around. Isn’t hemp illegal, haha?
Loulou – you are so lucky to have a garden!! I would be pulling cherry tomatoes off the vines so fast! Or rolling in the nip! You have it really GOOD! Going to rain here all weekend, YUK! So we will take a long walk today – with the pousette – stroller!
Raining here, too. Yuk. Sleep is on the agenda…zzzzz
Rolling in the dirt is the best! We are waiting for ours to dry out. We do roll on the concrete and the grass.
Yes, warm concrete or stepping stones are nice, too.
You are a lucky girl.
Well, a garden is pretty nice while in isolation.
Be careful of those lilies LouLou – even the pollen can harm kitties.
I don’t have lilies in the garden, as mama gets them ONLY for a vase, but it made nice alliteration.
