WOW! That student really has big heart!
Well, perhaps education in America is moving in the right direction. Mama, papa and I were so, so moved by this high school senior’s gesture at graduation.
A glimmer of hope for what young people can do in this world. And her mother, getting her degree at 47!
Good News has some uplifting stories when all the other news gets you down, and there is a delightful kitty story this week about a kleptomanicat...
Mama started reading me these inspiring stories during our isolation, and now I really look forward to a positive jolt each week.
But why did that kitty steal GLOVES? Maybe he liked to garden, like me when I water mama’s roses.
That is one wonderful graduate. Maybe we could share our kibble with the ferals around here, mama. But where are they? I think they all took off for our poissonerie that is now open!
OOPS-TODAY is DADDY DAY, NOT YESTERDAY.
Mama’s just a bit off this week, haha…
What a very special thing for that graduate to do. We need more uplifting stories like this.
Wasn’t she incredible? Mama takes The Optimist, which is a very uplifting publication and you’d love it.
Wow, what a wonderful story, Loulou. There should be more generous people like Verda.
Perhaps her goodness will be catching. Happens often!
Wowy, she did something very special that must have meant the world to the receiver. Mom wishes there were more humans in the world like that girl who put others first before herself.
Wasn’t that wonderful? She clearly had a good strong mama, too.
Happy Father’s Day to your wonderful Papa! XO
Oh, thank you, and yes, he is Mr. Wonderful.
We need more good news stories Loulou but that glove thief was pretty funny.
Wasn’t that hilarious? Wonder what I could steal in my neighborhood, wherever that is. I’m fenced in. I think I would steal anchovies, haha.
Happy Pawther’s Day!
Loulou, when I went to college, $40K would have allowed me to go away to school, rather than stay home to work part-time and commute.
At my current place of employment, you cannot be hired unless you have a 4-year college degree.
WOW, but I wish more kids could GET a college degree. The fees are outlandish. And places like Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc are more than 40,000 a YEAR! Education does not seem a priority in the US.
Happy Father’s Day to your Papa !
That scholarship story is amazing ! Hopefully two wonderful lives will be impacted !
Yes, we were in tears when we saw her interview with her mama and papa. What a lovely young mind.
Loulou that girl sure knows how to pass it on. That glove stealing kitty may have thought they would give her pets and rubs MOL
I wonder if she stole the right size for her mama and papa, haha.
Happy Papas Day.
And to you, too. MERCI.
