Well, mama read this wonderful article in the NYT, but it was quite long and sometimes when I put in a link to an article, the reader is asked to subscribe! Boo on that. Instead, mama clicked on the video of little Nania being cared for by a wonderful man who has become her best friend, along with a goat.
The authorities are trying to find her elephant tribe with her DNA!! This is so exciting and we are looking forward to the sequel for this little darling.
But the video says it all. Don’t you just want to plunge in that water with her and play?
Well, not me, but YOU might!
I love her from afar…and out of the mud if possible. But I do love her. Even muddy…
Do you think she would have fun with me?
Hey, if I’m lost, can they find mama with my DNA? Hmmm…
What a sweet little elephant! I would like to play with her. ~Ernie
Oh, we LOVED Nania and hope they find her mama.
What a dear little elephant….Hopefully they can find her family but in the meantime she has people taking such wonderful care of her AND some friends too. Let’s hope she has a wonderful life no matter how the story turns out!
Hugs, Teddy
Mama adores elephants. She regrets never having spent time with them, like her friend who took her two kids to an elephant reserve for TWO WEEKS to water and feed and learn about elephants.
Well, Loulou – hope she finds her mom! Or maybe she would get along with the donks? She needs roaming space. Mamma fell in love, too – but an apartment in Nice wouldn’t work. Can they be toiiet trained? Just wondering…..
HAHA, toilet-trained elephants! That would be so GOOD for mama’s garden.
No we will not jump in
Haha, yes, better not to jump.
Dont think we will jump in either
Hey, it’s only water, haha.
There might be some of your DNA on Mama and vice versa but I don’t think you share DNA the way you would if you were blood kin. But you care so much more on the inside.
Oh, that is so true. I’m sure I would find her if I were lost.
We hope the DNA thing works for that sweetie!
