Do you think this might make them think twice about leaving, haha.
Well, THEY go tomorrow morn (at crow fart, as they used to say in Texas but I, being a well-bred kitty, don’t ever say that even if is pretty accurate, haha) and my Sue-rogate mama arrives soon after so maybe the transition won’t be too bad.
It is mama and papa who’ll suffer, believe you me. Well, who else would you believe, right?
We are all going to have to adjust, but mama calls me on the phone (yes, she does, you don’t have to tell anyone – they’ll think she’s nuts) and talks to me and I THINK I know what’s happening but no one has ever been sure.
Little do THEY know that I am feigning joy and happiness at hearing mama’s voice and am actually eyeing my dish full of paté de fois gras.
In my dreams.
But my Kitty Whisperer IS fairly indulgent and I’m bound to have some surprises and certainly a few little treats for my impeccable nighttime behavior. Why am I going on about this. I am really sad.
Hey, it’s not for very long, right? Still, I am sad.
But not half as sad as THEY are…sigh.
Darn Lulu they will be home soon as you say
Yes, time really goes fast lately and we cannot for the life of us figure it out!
Loulou, parting is such sweet sorrow…whatever that means!
Haha, well, I know what it means NOW…and I’ll bet mama is suffering without ME.
Poor Loulou. Hopefully the time will fly (like a crow, but not a crow fart) and they will be back before you know it.
Do crows actually do that. Won’t look into that further, haha. I hope it flies. I’m lonesome.
I bet you will enjoy a new routine while your Mama and Papa are gone….extra treats? I’m sure! See? It won’t be so bad with them gone and they will be home with presents for you before you know it. YES I SAID PRESENTS. It’s what our humans do to beg our forgiveness. Tee Hee
Hugs, Teddy
AHA, I had forgotten that ploy! Heh, heh, I’m sure they will have SOMETHING.
At least you’re still have your kitty whisperer to tickle your cute tummy, Loulou.
Oh, she does that a lot! I have to admit, I roll over for anyone who looks like a tickler.
I do hope the time flies by! Petcretary tells us that the older she gets the faster the time goes!
That phone call might be a video call, with the tech things we have access to these days…now that would be fun to see if you react to seeing them…ie Zoom or Skype.
Oh, I forgot, and mama has video calls with everyone now. BRILLIANT IDEA, merci!
Wow, Loulou – Iwould be sad TOO – but it’s only for a month. And you’ll get lots of love from your kitty-sitter! And I’ll bet they will bring you presents on return!!! YIPPEE!!!!
Well, YOU bring me so many that I don’t need any for months, haha. Well, one month, anyway.
How can they leave that adorable face?
IT WAS HELL FOR MAMA. And papa.
That is sad Loulou. I’m glad our peeps never go anywhere!
Oh, you are so lucky. This is a first in two years for mama and papa, and it’s much more difficult with covid.
It was supposed to bre “so their kitties can hear their voice.” At least my posts are getting posted now – sort of,
WE SHALL DO A VIDEO SOON. What fun, thank you for ideas.
LouLou, plenty of kitty owners call so their kitties The one time I was gone for two weeks (more than 30 years ago) I wanted to do that but the Aunt I was visiting would have had a fit, and it was back in the day when it would have cost plenty to call cross country. But I don’t travel now – and I don’t want to leave my kitties.
YOU’RE OVER 30??? Wow. Mama doesn’t want to leave her kitty either, but here we are, the grand-anthros have taken first place after a long time. But time will wing its way quickly to end of Oct.
Oh LouLou, you poor thing! The good part is that once they return they’ll probably feel guilty and give you extra treats.
Haha, that’s the plan!
