OH, WOW, Friday again? It was JUST FRIDAY! How do these days go so FAST? And another full moon, too. Jeez, Louise…
1. It’s about time __we got out our radish seeds, planted, then make believe we’ll have a garden one day in the future because radishes ALWAYS grow, anytime!
2. An anecdote I like to tell is __how it took me THREE days of suspicion to go through a kitchen door to a new forever home!
3. I wish there was a way to __follow good advice__ without __forgetting what it was!
4. Too many people take __their “entitlements”__ for granted. Better to think about just what it is you are “entitled” to…
Well, these are not my favorite answers but mama and I ARE going to plant radishes today, come hell or high water. Whatever that means. Guess I have to put off my beauty sleep…
these fill ins were A LOT of fun!!!!
Well, they ARE fun to think about, for many reasons. At least they tax the brain!
I like your responses, Loulou. I hope your mama plants some catnip along with those radishes. ~Ernie
Oh, yes, it’s coming up right now in TWO places.
That’s a super portrait of you dear Loulou and my Mom votes for radishes too…she loves them. They don’t always have them in the grocery store for some reason but when they do Mom can eat a pile of them for a snack. I wouldn’t mind playing with one but eating one? I think not.
Hugs, Teddy
Play with it all you like but no nibbling. They supposedly lower blood pressure along with garlic….
No radishes for you – and me either! But I like almost everything else! I have all the apartment and beds in almost every room! We re soooo spoiled – but that’s the way it should be! I’ve started sleeping with Mamma on the sofa when we watch TV! We have it GOOD!!!
Oh, your lucky maman, to snooze woth you, Mya. And you have such a cuddly tummy!
Really good answers and a wonderful photo Loulou!
Oh, merci, I’m glad someone like them. I was sort of up in the air about answers this week.
Thank you for participating in the fil-ins, great answers. My hubby already started radishes last week as well as onions. Plus he is growing self-pollinating cucumbers and zucchini indoors. I love this photo of you LouLou, you are a beauty. XO
Well, merci, and what an enterprising anthro, your hubby. Mama wants to know how to do the cukes and zuckes!!!
LouLou we were going to comment on radishes but your portrait just blew all that out of our head.
The Old Farmer’s Almanac has an article this month about parsnips – you plant them now and harvest them this time next year. My Mom fried them in bacongrease of course, which would make pretty much anything delicious so I remember them fondly.
Oh, delish! We love all of those things. Well, THEY do. But bacon fat, yes, makes everything zippy. We’re doing curly kale now, sauteed until very crisp and mama goes bonkers for the texture. Merci about the photo. Sometimes we lucky…
Loulou, you don’t eat radishes, do you?
NO WAY, JOSE. It’s mama who is the radish nut. Just lemon and salt and a little butter….the most famous chef in France long ago cooked incredible meals at his resto but for his own dinner, radishes and butter on brown bread. That’s mama’s choice, too.
