Hey, mama, I think you need a bit more practice, haha.
Well, mama found the famous Irish ceílí dance on Google, and the truth is, we didn’t know what it was called until now…duh. This might give a top o’ the mornin’ to ya today!
WHAT FUN! Do you think they would let kitties join in? With four paws, we ought to really cut a rug twice as well as anthros! Hey, a day of dancing and good food sounds like a remedy for almost anything right now.
As for true Irish dishes, here are a few to bring pleasure to your palate.
Hey, mashed potatoes and butter are NEVER turned down around here…
So our peptok poem today is
Mash a spud and do a jig.
We’ve found that those two are a brand-new gig.
A tiny little smile will get REALLY BIG.
And from your best friend whom you thought was a mensch,
if’ you’re not wearin’ green, you’ll get a big PINCH!
I’d like to see you do a little jig, Loulou. Hope you had a Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
I will practice for that!
HA! Love your poem! I made it through the day without a pinch even though I didn’t have any green on. Mom thought about putting a green scarf around my neck but changed her mind when I indicated it was a “NO GO” by running off and hiding. Tee Hee
Hugs, Teddy
Hey, when in doubt, RUN and HIDE…we are so, so smart, we kitties.
Happy St Paddy’s Day to you and yours, Loulou. Absolutely loved that dancing vid.
Oh, that makes us so happy!
Is this St. Patrick’s Day? Loved the poem and the drawing! Wow – I will have to find something GREEN to celebrate!
Hope you didn’t get pinched.
NOPE – A pretty ribbon would be GOOD!!!
Ribbons are wonderful on doggies.
You are quite the poet- good job. Happy St. Patrick’ Day! XO
Corny as Kansas in August…
Such a fun post. I love St. Patrick’s Day.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday and St. Patrick’s day. My best to your mom. ♥
We do, too. Did you wear green? I hope so to stave off the tweaks!
Potatoes – mashed or fried or whatever are always a hit around here ! Erin go Bragh !
Yes, Ireland forever and ever! Also potatoes any way you cook ‘em!
Such a fun day in the blogosphere! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Yes, there were many fun bloggings and thank you for Thursday hops!
May the road rise up
To meet you.
May the wind be always
At your back.
May the sun shine warm
upon your face.
May the rain fall soft
upon your field,
And until we meet again.
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day and St. Gertrude’s Day to you and yours.
Oh, that made us get all teary!!!! I think we should have green eggs and ham…Thank you for the blessing.
