Well, high five me, mama. At least you tried.
Well, mama tried to photograph art that is framed (and it doesn’t come out so well, mama…).
Lots of sun behind you won’t help, mama, but I know it’s a pain to un-frame! Uh, could you have photographed before framing, duh?
Oh, well, we’ll just stick with this for Saturday Art Day.
A cartoon for a restaurant in gay Paree.
A portrait that started as papa but isn’t, haha. Not sure about those ears, mama. Aren’t they supposed to match a little, haha…
And we should have put this illustration in for Save The Earth Day but what the heck…this was for a poem, The Elephant and the Tragopan, by Vikram Seth, in Orion Magazine many years ago. It is an ecological fable in verse. It would have been better to post it yesterday but better late than never, whatever that means!
LouLou we love that picture of you and the moon ! And the picture of all the Easter goodies too.
Purraying for a Ukrainean Easter miracle.
Oh, I am so tickled that you liked Mr Moon because I love the full moon and often want to go out when he is full. I wonder if it is because he eats too much of something…I know about that.
What beautiful artwork, Loulou. I give you a high five too. ~Ernie
I love the photo of you giving a high paw the best.
Merci and I give her the high five often!
Those are really lovely drawings, LouLou.
And the photo is also cute, even though it didn’t turn out quite the way you wanted.
Oh, merci, and have a good Sunday. I’m trying to put something on my blog so that we can smile, but I’m not too good at this….
That gentleman looks quite distinguished! Our ‘Opa’ panted a fair bit, but faces always eluded him, LOL
Love all those dancing/running beasties in the last picture.
Your Mam is a great artist not yet discovered:)
Well, she was actually an illustator for several magazine and did three books but paintings just began about 5 years ago..we’ll see.
Mamma is laughing at the drawings!!! And they are going to vote (for Macron) – Hoping it stops the raining and thunder!! But it’s not far, so they will go. I will stay in the house!
It thundered and POURED here yesterday and will again today. I hope you’re not scared, Mya. I’m under the bed..
Very nice art. XO
Merci, Ellen, and do the kitties arrive today? So exciting.
Oh what wonderful drawings Loulou! Really and truly your Mama is so very talented – it makes me smile (and Mom too) to see her work…it’s so free and clever and creative and the style is one which my Mom never could work out for herself even though she tried. She wanted her work to sometimes be spontaneous and quick and witty and all she ever was able to do was painstaking detail that took weeks to complete. Sigh. Poor Mama… we love all of the drawings – the “Not Papa” is wonderfully colorful and I agree with the “eye comment” – those eyes are penetrating.
Hugs to you AND to your Mama!
Teddy
Oh, Teddy, mama yearns to be able to paint like YOUR incredible mama. Why don’t you get her to put more of her paintings on your blog? They are majestic and would sell easily!!! Especially where you are in Virginia where there are amazing landscapes and everyone loves that in their homes. We have seascapes here by several local artists..so calming and lovely.
Great artwork!
Love your high five pic too.
Merci, and a Ukrainian Sunday Easter to you. Today is when Ukrainians celebrate. Mama is going to make their traditional bread.
We love the pictures ! Especially the dancing entrees at the restaurant !
Fingers crossed for your election tomorrow !
Oh, boy, YES, crossed fingers, indeed, and merci for your wonderful word for the fishies…entrees, haha. As no doubt they were…
Your Mama is very talented!
Aw, shucks, merci, Brian, but I think it’s the model, haha…..
Love the portrait of non-papa, Loulou.
The colors, and the look of the eyes.
Ooh, mama will be tickled all colors! Merci
